ESO's Luxury Vendor or Funerary Relics Dealer?

Why in the heck ESO's "Luxury" vendor keep selling creepy/nasty stuff almost all the time???

Is corpses, skeletons and Daedra decor a "luxury"?

A Luxury Vendor was suppose to sell sumptuous objects, rare and beautiful, suitable to create a pleasant ambient. But that guy sells almost every week boxes of BONES, bone candles and instruments of torture!!!

Is it because he lives in Coldhabour and can't get better stuff elsewhere in Tamriel? Has he some dark contract with Molag Bal?

Geez...

He's secretly a mass murderer and needs to get rid of the bodies, so he does it in the one place that has no rule of law.

    Absolutely untrue.

He sells stuff like that only every now and then.
What, you don't remember the big, recent, two week complaint-session with people complaining that he barely ever sells normal lighting (instead of just blue)?

Both scenarios (that one and yours here) are hyperbolic, born of impatience for all of the other stuff he does sell.
(trees, flowers, structural components, etc. the list is quite long.)
And don't try to argue your case further... you forget Mr. Bowd has a calendar which showcases what is available every week of the year, and that all by itself proves your complaint wrong.

It's certainly attractive - maybe even a luxury - for a necromancer to be able to impress his friends with a nice mummy that nobody else has.

It’s not “almost all the time”, it’s four weeks of the year. Or, less than 10% of the time. Not every week will be to everyone’s tastes, and that’s ok.

What’s not ok is to dictate that something is “supposed” to be different just because it’s not to your personal tastes.

He sells many beautiful plants/flowers/trees, items of a Clockwork design, alchemy items, weddiing themed items, statues galore and that's just off the top of my head, there are plenty more!

Ofc there are also plenty of spooky, daedric, necromancy type items too but in a land where more often than not we are fighting entities, often Daedric, who wish to take over the world, I don't think they are over represented!

One man's loss is another man's gain.

Sure, someone may lose their life (sometimes rather gruesomely) but a sadistic mass murderer/vampire/daedra/... gains a unique furnishing that really brightens up the place. For them at least.

      Just saying.

I think rarity is a quite objective term ;)

He definitely should be renamed, so we don't have to see comments or threads being made about him being called "luxury" whenever he has one of the few themes that is not pretty things.

Variety is good, and one person's trash is another's luxury.

He should be called the Unique Furnishings Vendor.

Or Themed Furnishings Vendor, since he sells things on a theme that shifts every two weeks.

(anything different would be nice, so we don't get these "How is this 'Luxury'" posts every time a theme like corpses or rocks comes up.)

Luxury - The state of great comfort and extravagant living

Extravagant - Lacking restraint in spending money or using resources:
      * Costing too much money:
      * Exceeding what is reasonable or appropriate, absurd.

Grotesque furnishings abide by the definition of both terms, in both price and appearance. Taste does not matter when discussing luxury.
