Does frost cloak work on companions?

(Starting a new thread, since the mods locked the old one that didn't have an answer yet.)

Does frost cloak (and it's morphs) apply major resolve to your companions? I can see the visual effects of other buffs to companions, but not for this one.
The ones I was able to see (on that toon) were combat prayer and enchanted growth. Both of these show the visual cues on the companion.

No it does not. Sharp-as-Night Sleetmail provides major resolve for you and your party members, ignore the tooltip numbers its the full 5948 armor at all levels, but only provides 20% damage reduction to himself. It used to provide him his own major resolve early in the PTS, but they changed it after feedback. Two sources of minor resolve can be applied to companions, from Restoration staff Blessing of Protection and Arcanist Runic Defense.

Thanks. Do you know if mend spirit (psijic healing skill, mend wounds morph) gives major resolve to a companion when healing them? The main reason I wanted to know if frost cloak did was for which mend wounds morph to take. Cloak giving resistance would've meant I would take the symbiosis morph instead.

Psijic Order is too much of a grind for me, so I don't know. They don't need nearly the amount of armor players do, they count as level 50 target while players count as a level 66 target, you need only 25,000 armor for them to reach 50% damage reduction cap. The rest is through Bolstered and abilities that grant them 20% damage reduction, stacking multiplicatively.

The very limited amount of useful info on the companion stats you can get in game is a huge annoyance for me. Requiring the player base to find that one mob in the game where you can parse on with a companion is ridiculous. Least they could have done is to allow them to fight dummies in player houses, though that still says nothing for tankability.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding.
