Can’t re-enter Vile Manse Public Dungeon

This is the public dungeon in Reapers March. I got the key out of the boot upstairs and finished the quest earlier but after I came back out and tried to enter through the cellar again the door is locked and says I need the key. I’m doing this on a new character. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I think this is a bug. I’ve gone back and tried everything to re-enter the cellar.

I’ve noticed as of the recent patch that public dungeon quests are not registering as completed after you finish them and the dungeon stays uncleared on the map.

Maybe after I turned this quest in it removed the key from my inventory but didn’t register to the game that the dungeon was cleared and now I have no way to get the key again.

How do all of your zone guides look?

Being locked out of quest-locked areas (like the Vile Manse) is a major symptom of the Quest State bug. Do you see the zone guides on that character all messed up - quests marked as incomplete that you know you did, quests marked as finished that you know you didn't, completed things out of order, etc.

It looks like the fix for this is in the PTS, so we should be able to get our progress back in a few weeks.

Yes, I have the quest state bug where it doesn’t show completed content that I’ve done.
