If you make me the director of operations this game could last some 20 years. Maybe even longer.

HERE'S MY PLANS FOR 2024 and BEYOND if you make me in charge
  1. I think we need to do a complete 180 and go back to adding PVP content. Make classes specific for pvp.
  2. Add more MEGA weapons like vuldrung
  3. Add a martial science class.
  4. add a better druid class than the one we got with more animals.
  5. To add on to druid animal forms within that class. add a on a mystical ferocious feline cat form for melee dps. * suggested by wilykcat * , lion or ram for tank/dps, a Indrik form thats for heals
  6. Add animal forms to the warden class like a bear form that you can fight in; that is either a tank or depending on its morph
  7. Add a oblivion dmg based class .
  8. Add a water based class that has healing, dps , and tank purpose
  9. Add a fire based Daedric player class that has healing, dps , and tank purpose not like the dragon knight.
  10. Add a multi dimensional portal that takes the player to a planet within the universe of STARFIELD for a cross- game pvp zone.
  11. Add a multi dimensional portal that takes the player to a planet within the universe of STARFIELD for a cross- game pve social experience.

In my view TESO maybe given up on for development of pvp gameplay; long term but it doesn't have to be just because starfield is coming out.
We can take this all the way and run the wheels off this bad boy.

If you can't come up with ideas. Hit me up  I have plenty. These above are just a few.

Dear Community/Followers,

I want to address recent concerns regarding allegations of inappropriate direct messages and supposed cheating. First and foremost, I want to clarify that I do not admit to any wrongdoing. However, I understand that my actions may have been perceived in a way that caused concern.

As many of you know, I am a disabled veteran who served in Iraq, and I am permanently and totally mentally disabled. My PTSD, which was formally diagnosed in 2013 after being reclassified in the DSM-5, has affected me in ways that are difficult to fully explain. While this is not an excuse, it has, at times, clouded my judgment and impacted my behavior. This condition is something I have lived with for a long time, and it is a daily challenge.

As an influencer, streamer, and game reviewer with over 300 reviews, 800 followers on Twitch, and 1,600 followers on TikTok, I understand the responsibility that comes with my platform. Our role as influencers is to set a positive example, and I want to make it clear that I do not condone actions that go against the Terms of Service (TOS) or End User License Agreements (EULA) of any platform or community. Even though societal norms have evolved, and what was once deemed acceptable behavior in the past is no longer appropriate, I am committed to adapting and ensuring that my actions reflect the values we strive for today.

I want to go forward with a commitment to better representing the disabled members of our community. I recognize that I may never fully "fit in" or be "normal," but I am dedicated to improving and learning from these experiences. It is crucial that we have more flexibility and better support services for disabled veterans like myself, so we can remain active members of our communities without being unfairly limited by our disabilities. These services would help ensure that we can make better decisions and avoid situations like this in the future.

Thank you for your understanding, and I am grateful for the continued support of this community as I work to become a better version of myself.

Sincerely,
theshockcable

So, I'm going to redact my former post to say something more constructive, since I feel that's what this thread needs.

I'm sorry, but I really do not feel that any of these ideas would add anything helpful in the least to PVP. We especially do not need more weapons like volendrung on the battlefield. This thing already causes enough trouble as it is.

I don't think we need classes SPECIFIC to pvp, but possibly a split in the nature of the way classes are handled. Specific balances for PVP separated from balances for PVE, and so on. I've always thought that PVP and PVE balances should be separate, and that zoning into IC/Cyro/Battlegrounds should alter the utility of skills, so that PVE skills don't constantly get nerfed.

And, that's all I have to say in regards to the subject. The rest I just don't agree with.

To add on to druid animal forms. I suggest adding on a mystical ferocious feline cat form for melee dps.

I love the idea of a druid class being added into the game.

That way feral druids become a thing in eso too and not just in World of Warcraft.

You might want to be a bit more specific with some of the suggestions.

For example, Mevil Rendar will summon animals to attack you if you make him be hostile to you. Is that the type of ability you are looking to have or are you after something else?

    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Mevil_Rendar

You'd likely find the fire class might run too close to the DK for many people to be interested.

People have suggested a water based class and ZOS has added some npc water abilities.

My impression is that they had other weapons such as Volderung but paused due to perception/performance.

The audience for Starfield and ESO may not overlap that well and may not be terribly interested in a mixed PvP or PvE. I'm not sure even Starfield players will be able to play together.

Do you like the existing npc martial/science animations?

What specific PvP classes would you actually want?

Are you wanting the separate forms for Druid to be like WW or what?

Coming up with ideas is fun (as long as one doesn't get too carried away and ending up wanting to change everything).

Besides, are we really that far away from "AI" totally changing the gaming experience?

Multiplayer games will likely run into significant challenges with people using the "AI" to play instead of themselves.

Singleplayer games will likely hit significant competition from cheaper "AI" generated content.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. Ok Op, Lets go over your list

1: The entire reason why they don't really bother with PvP content on a grand scale is due to the small number of people that play it comapred to most other things in the game, meaning it gets sidelined with small addations if/when the time can be found, so if they went all in and made classes just for PvP then that would be dev time, and thus money spent on something which 95% of the playerbase will never touch.

2: Vuldrung is a balance nightmare, adding more artifact weapons is not going to help on that front, like at all

3: Ya mean martial arts? unarmed combat? a monk/brawler type class? yeah that'd be neat, a weapon type however would be more pratical due to the sheer number of skills that'd be needed for a class vs a weapon, plus the balance issues and all that

4: Why another druid? why not an elementalist, or spellsword or even the long missing battlemage class

5: This isn't WoW, adding animals forms isn't really something that'd fit the elderscrolls vibe outside of something a big bad can do after getting some mythical power, and even then it's limited in scope

    6: See point 5

7: There is a reason oblivion damage is limited to 4 sources, having a class based around it would just be stupidly unbalanced compared to everything else

8: So in other words just a normal water-based class, yeah that could work.

9: So you want DK but instead of DK it is daedra based? hard pass, too much overlap

10: To what end? what would this achieve other than screwing over the tes lore super hard and increasing the download size of starfield by about 100GB, destroying PvP balance if you could bring anything back from there and overall being dumb?

    11: See point 10

So, if you were made director of operations your final score would be 2.5/11 rather poor output
My own list however would be as follows
    1. Rebalance the PvP to make it more accessable to newer players, maybe give them a low rank based power boost, much like low levels get in PvE so they can actually last long enough to get a feel for PvP rather than just going splat instantly and being turned off from it
    2. Give everyone the achivements realted to Vuldrung and then remove it from cyro
    3. Add the unarmed weapon type.
    4. Animal taming skill line to let players of any class have ONE combat pet, which has its stats based upon the player, natrually you would be able to dismiss the tamed animal if you didn't want it or wanted a new one
    5. Add Rune and one handed weapon type, for the true spellsword experience as seen in trailers time and again
    6. Give the older classes a FULL overhaul, fixing bugs, fixing balance, making visuals consistant and most importantly, restoring class idenity

For those of you who don't know, OP is a famously unhinged PVP streamer. I've never been able to tell if he's an exceptionally talented troll, or if he truly, sincerely, believes averything he says.
What I DO know is he once reported myself, my entire guild run, and some random pugs he mistakenly thought were part of our group for "speed hacking", aka his favorite phrase on live stream.

Our guild pvp reqs include 2 swift jewels, and we have a designated rapids spammer.

I remain unconvinced "speed hacking" is actually a real thing. Some of us just actually know how to use the tools in the game to be speedy.
