Constant Network Issues Since Yesterday Making The Game Unplayable

Hi, i'm from South Africa and on the EU server, moved from NA specifically due to lower lag, only to find the game is unplayable now. I'm getting constant network issues, ping going from 219 which is the average,to 250,700 to even 999+ and then being unresponsive until connection error, internal network error, connection timeout etc yet i tested star wars the old republic...no error nor lag there, only ESO. was able to stream a movie & download a game with no issue at all so the issue is isolated to ESO only. Its getting extremely irritating being unable to play,e specially as i bought ESO+ which i only had enough for one month and now i can't play & ZOS refuses to place it on pause

    yes, still errors. infact today i got booted out twice while NA had no issues

    I know, my main was on NA & i was forced to move to EU, losing my necromancer and of course, ZOS refuses to transfer, just greedy
    Better latency but losing access to a paid item

    nothing, just that there's an internal error or something and yes, i closed the launcher & game and restarted, even restarted my pc

    In that case, please check out the following article:

    "An Unexpected Internal Error has occurred. Please contact customer service..." Login Error Code - PC/Mac- The Elder Scrolls Online

    As mentioned in the article, it may help to repair your launcher. If it doesn't, then a full reinstall may be required to resolve the issue.

    @ZOS_Phoenix, yes I've done all that - I've gone through the troubleshooting guide, I've repaired my launcher, restarted my PC and my router, disabled the few add-ons I use, checked that ESO is listed as an exception in my Antivirus, disabled the VPN, opened the outbound ports in my router, everything.

    I mostly get error 201 or 301, particularly in the evening when traffic on the server is high in the evenings.

    Right now my latency is around 280, that's about 100ms above average. When I attempt to do anything from dropping off daily crafting writs to checking in-game mail the lag is obvious and frustrating, particularly when you have to perform the same action multiple times because the first attempt wasn't communicated. When I watch Youtube videos showing skill rotations I can't fathom the response time for the abilities to resolve, when I try animation cancelling it's a joke. I don't even bother with PVP, I get off one ability to 3 from an opponent.

    I realise the physical distance is a problem, but this is ridiculous. My connection speed is 100Mbps, I should be seeing latency of ~100ms, not 3 times that. This isn't a problem with my setup, the EU server is very obviously not set up for the traffic it's meant to support.

    Same here, i also tried exitlag with its trial, on EU i get 217 without it, no change with it, on NA, the average is 317, with exit its 280. Its definitely their servers and not our lines. No other game gives us this issues.
    On Eu i'm supposed to get below 200, honestly at this rate, its the same lag as NA, not much change, same delay

    Same here. I´m in the char screen and when I try to log in, I get the message that connecting to the game server is not possible and that I should check my internet connection...
    From char screen to game. This is a fresh problem since today. The system has been running fine for more than 4 years without changes...

    edit: PC-EU 2nd edit: connecting to PTS works fine.

    i tried, i got the generic copy and paste of basic things that didnt help

    [snip] I went through five rounds of checks, none of which did anything to improve the latency problem. The last suggestion took me 2 weeks to complete the check, when I tried to report the lack of results I found that the ticket had been closed. I opened a new ticket referencing the previous one - the second one was closed as a duplicate without any notification or response.
