I need some information. Can you Corrosive Armor then Take Flight?

Let's say one could get their ulti up in about less than 12 seconds.

I have balorgh, I have corrosive armor with 500 ulti. I use it.

I have about 12 balorgh and corrosive seconds. Then in about 7 seconds I get take fight up..and use it.

Will corrosive still be on when they use ulti or will it double ulti up? That would mean I could probably remove balorgh off for something else. Like bloodspawn or something. I am guessing balorgh will still be on. Does balorgh stack or refresh the time?

I'll go test some stuff out....

There are two ways to leap within corrosive uptime:
    - your friends ult points are transferred to you with the one trial set, that provides your group members with ult points instead of activating you own ultimate
    - You use the eternal yokeda set, which grants you 100 ultimate points

But if this kind of stuff is your goal, I would not suggest wearing balorgg, since the big lart of the damage comes from the penetration balorgh provides. This is totally useless in corrosive armor though.

But if you try it anyway, I guess the new weaker balorgh proc will overwrite the big one from corrosive, since it prolongs the balorgh buff. Normally longer buffs overwrite shorter ones.

It is certainly possible but I agree that Balorgh is not the way to go here. Best to go with Bloodspawn.

You would also need to stack Ult Gen sets with Oakensoul to be truly effective on it. Which means your base damage isn't going to be great.

Back when Oakensoul had Major Heroism, I had a Sorc build that could drop a Meteor every 8 seconds.

It would take some doing now, since Major Heroism isn't a gimme now. For a DK with a 110 cost Take Flight:

Mountain Blessing Passive 3 Ult per 6 seconds
    Akaviri DragonGuard: -15% ult cost
Arkasis Backbar: 44 Ult every 30 seconds
    Potentates: - 15% ult cost

So with those, Potentates and Akaviri would reduce your 110 cost to 77.
So, you hit Corrosive on your backbar, then you pop a potion.
You are immediately given 3 ult from Mountain Blessing and 44 Ul from Arkasis, So in the first second of your Corrosive, you have 47 Ult, or more than halfway there.

If a team member is running another complimentary Ult set, then you could possible get that Take Flight up before the end of Corrosive. There are some other Ult sets you could synergize with as well to do so.

    The mythic:

    Cryptcanon Vestments
(1 item) You can no longer cast Ultimate abilities. Instead, casting an Ultimate ability transfers your Ultimate resource to your living group members, divided equally among them. Gain Minor Heroism while you are in combat.

So, 1 DK and 1 healbot doing this, rally cry, etc.

    It's not just gear.

Killing players is a huge source of Ultimate points if you have the right passives (e.g. Fighter's Guild, Assault, etc). IIRC you get 23 Ult from those passives per kill, so in contexts such as Cyro or IC, you can pump and dump Ult pretty quickly.
