Is account cancelling immediate or delayed until end of subcription period.

I would like a responce from a ZOS rep. I am half way through my one year Plus membership. I want to prevent an auto renewal from happening and not have to remember to go cancel next Christmas. I'm not asking about refunds.
If I cancel now will I still be a Plus member until my subcription runs out in December?

You've paid for the year already.

Only thing a renewal does is just that: renew at the end of the extant sub period.

I use steam and every time I subscribe to eso+ I immediately go and cancel it so it doesn’t renew. Works perfectly.
