This is happening to me too- on my main account, I crashed, Now getting a login queue, then error 103 and a blank screen that I have to force shut.

Not happening on my alt account. Incredibly frustrating.

A lot of people here seem to not have the problem on their alt accounts. Is it only affecting people who have ESO Plus? Like, the normal ESO Plus, not the week-long trial

Just redownloaded the game randomly last night - woke up and tried to login - Error 103.

No addons, fresh install on freshly formatted pc. :-/

The curious thing is that it crashes the entire game to a picture of two adventurers overlooking a valley. There is no menu, no way to interact with the game. I have to ctrl/alt/del and use program manager to end the process. Oh, well, I guess I'll read a book or something tonight. Anyone know why Zenimax thought it was clever to run a free special at the same time as a special event???

i was fine with my alts until i tried my main; got booted out. longest 1 sec queue...1800 sec later...and still counting. *sigh*

Yeps it's still going on for me. I'm done for the day. Maybe tomorrow (most likely Monday though) there will be a fix. The thing is, it only seems to affect some. Not all. Even so, I hope the problem gets prompt attention.

Just went down again for me. Was able to get on for a bit, but then crashed once more.

PC/NA: since the event started, I'm placed in a queue when I log in, and then when my character finally zones, and I try to port anywhere from a shrine, I get kicked out to the log-in screen again. It takes a few tries to log in and port successfully without being kicked from the game.

The queue mechanic is faulty (both servers).

Firstly, there's no way there are sufficient numbers to warrant a queue at 8.30am (EU server)

Secondly, the timer skips all over the place.

Thirdly, screen commonly freezes on expirey with error message.

Error 103 after the queue timer... then 201 for a while... then queue... then 103 after the queue ends. And I have to Task Manager the process away.
Thankfully, this is still just an open beta, so those issues will probably be sorted out for launch, right?

Just like yesterday and the day before, I'm sitting here trying to log on to the PS5/NA server. It either says my Logon failed, puts me into a queue, or just never connects.

This event is turning into a disaster.

PS\EU a couple hours ago I got a less than 1 min queue. Fine.

Then ppl started waking up apparently.

PS\NA I couldn't even log on, queue for a couple mins only to get the 103 equivalent error. After 4 attempts, including switching to PS\EU and back, I gave up and went to PC\NA (or tried to)

The question ppl need to be calling out is WHY someone on the ESO team decided that:

Going live with the Epic Games Store free ESO deal...

Having a free ESO+ trial...

DURING AN EVENT...

WAS A REALLY GREAT IDEA.

Likely some marketing "expert" thought that "Hey, with all the new players jumping in from EGS the game will be extra attractive during the event. PLUS lets do a ESO+ free trial to see how many new subs we can hook."

Add to that the changes they made to the ZoZ event this year makes this one of the worse event experiences I've had since I began playing a few years ago.

The Q isn't the problem here.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION and critical thinking on the ESO team and within ZoS is the problem.

So what's going to happen. Sure maybe you get a bunch of new accounts from EGS, and maaaaybe you snag a few new subs.
But MOST of these "new player" accounts are going to go silent right after the event and free trial end.
And your connection numbers and player volume will go back to nearly what they were before this debacle.

Meanwhile, you've pissed off long time players like me, who spend and embarrassingly-large amount of money and time on your product.

10-15 minute "queue".

2 minutes elapse. Error 108. Blank splash screen. Force quit. "ESO has crashed".

This is a paid-for product, and there has been radio silence from any and all of the developers, community managers, etc.

I don't usually ping but the situation seems to call to @ZOS_GinaBruno & @ZOS_Kevin for their kind attention here?

Perhaps a red banner as there are serious problems at present time? Comments from the management would be very welcome.

30 minutes of waiting, it's worse and worse... It's like going back to the opening of the game. At least at that time there was the excuse of novelty, but there, I imagine that the infrastructure must be run in, right?

Tried to log in, got put in a 12 min queue.
No biggie, but then when it was my turn to log in, it crashed. Can't remember the crash code, but the screen was just the log in screen, but blank, no buttons or anything.
Now stuck in a 30 min queue.

Me too. I agree with this. I also think it's some kind of DoS/DDoS attack causing the issue. I hope what ever it is thats causing the servers trouble will get fixed and resolved soon. I desperately want to play eso again.
