Does anyone actually know what CP Templar jabs gets buffed by?

I am talking about the different types of damage:

• Direct damage
• Channeled attack
• AoE damage
• Damage over time

I hear so many people say different things. So I don't really trust anyone anymore.

Is there a way to find this out in game except for testing myself?

I always use aoe and direct dmg cp, cant remember the names.

jabs is classed as an aoe channeled direct dmg attack

it used to be bugged and would work with both the direct dmg and dot dmg cp (and most gear sets) but it was fixed to only count as direct dmg (the same goes for flurry)
