Reaper's March still crashes game --- game breaking bug going on for 2 years

Are you ever going to look into this and provide a fix? Also, who was the genius that, knowing the zone is bugged, decided to set a brand new companion quest there? Baffling decision.

So I guess yesterdays patch didn't fix it. I luckily had space on my PS5 to install the PS4 version and move my character, but isn't necessarily possible for everyone

Supposedly it will be fixed next update (Update 39), per the patch notes.

Interesting - that isn’t in the PC version of those notes. Perhaps the crash doesn’t occur on PC. Which would raise the question of why it was included in the PTS notes, since the PTS is PC only and that note wasn’t marked console only.

It looks then like that incremental was supposed to fix it on PS. I wonder if they tried to implement it sooner than Update 39 and it failed, or if the patch notes jumped the gun and the fix wasn’t included in the incremental as stated but is meant for Update 39.

I'm not brave enough to check it again, I've uninstalled the ps4 version and installed something in its place

I tested it yesterday. splashed in the river, zig zagged across, went up both sides of the bridge, went to all the places I'd crashed before.... and no crash for me
during prime time too for PS5/NA

That's so cool! Congrats!

Meanwhile, I crashed and had to get Support to move my character because login in would automatically crash the game.
I had to download the PS4 version to be able to have the dialogue to move Sharp-As-Night's quest forward.
