Blackheart Haven not Awarding XP when Transformed

Long story short, I was running randoms for XP to level skills up and at the last moment, I got the luck of the draw and Captain Blackheart turned me into a skeleton. Well low and behold, I did not get any XP awarded towards those skills, and I'm not even sure I got XP awarded at all for completing the dungeon. I know for a fact that I didn't get any XP for the skills because I had level 1 skills and a 150% XP buff active.

Not sure if this is by design, but thought it was a weird behavior that doesn't seem as intended. I assumed it would award the XP towards whatever skills are on whatever active bar I had at the time I was transformed. Maybe, maybe not.... just noticed it

you wouldnt get xp for skills because when you are transformed it blanks out your entire bar as the skeleton transform kind of functions similar to the WW and has its own "bar" which is just empty instead of being filled with special skills

you would still get the xp for doing the dungeon, but because its basically hiding your skill bars while transformed, you wouldnt get xp for the skills, kind of annoying but how its always worked

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

Yes, I understand why the XP is not awarded however my report was speaking to the nature of whether or not this was intended.

who knows lol, its been this way since launch

only can guess it might have been an oversight since it gives you a "3rd skill bar" temporarily, and back in the day a long time ago there was no "random dungeon bonus" (the dungeon finder was basically nonfunctional from 2014-2016 lol)

Yes, I also understand which is why I posted this in the bug report section and not the players helping players section. This isn't really something that any one of us can answer since this was a question from me more or less directly to the development team hoping they would actually know.

If they realize it's a bug, then I assume they'll fix it if they read these posts to their entirety.

If it's not a bug then they will either say so or not make any changes. The first step to fixing things is to bring them to someone's attention who has the capability to fix it.
