Problem: Main-quest

This is how it's supposed to look like.



This is me I don't get a quest marker on the door so I can't use it.

I've tried everything, turned off all addons before picking up the quest, abandon all quests, restart game, trouble shoot on internet trying to figure other with same problem.

Help me!

I also have another bug where I can't use the ToT Ranked game finder since it requires me to do the quest, but I can't take or do the quest since I've already finished the entire quest-line.

How does the rest of your zone guide look? If you see a lot of quests that it reports unfinished that you know you did (or finished that you know you didn't), then that might be the Quest Status Bug.

This is definitely the Quest Status bug.

The Quest Status bug is a gamebreaking bug that's been around since Necrom dropped. The most common cause seems to be doing the 'Kill 20 Arcanists' quest (which is why there was a wave of people that got it right after the PvP event). It essentially unsets a lot of flags in your world state that makes it seem like you haven't done many quests all over the world. As a result, you're blocked out of any areas that are quest-locked and can't complete those quests, which includes most zone stories. It also prevents queueing for Tales of Tribute as the game state thinks you haven't done the tutorial.

The only thing you can do is play on a different character. We're still waiting for ZOS to fix this one, even though some players have not been able to play Necrom's main quest for over a month now.

I'm having maybe a similar issue. For Caldwell's silver it says to use the light of Merida in the harborage, however I can't use the door to enter. It says something like you can't use that door right now. Yes I'm at my factions harborage.

I have 2 locations that I just did the quest on they became marked "white" for completion. Then once I opened the map again they turned "black" for unfinished.

Yep, that's the Quest Status bug. Definitely post in that thread so we can bring awareness to that issue.

It's also saying that I have to do the companion quests in the companion menu for all my companions, but they are all unlocked and I can summon them just fine.
