Quest skip for Alts

Should our Alts have the option to skip quest already done by our main? Now I am not saying skip it and instantly be rewarded, I am saying if you choose the skip you do not receive the XP or reward from it. Granted main storyline quest are tied to skyshards, so those ones would not be able to be skipped. But the other zone quest should have a option to skip.

Just a idea

You already have the option not to do quests on alts - if you don't want to do them just ignore them. I like going back to do some quests on alts; I never do everything on everyone because all my girls are different, with different backstories and "lives" - so they just quest through what makes sense for each of them.

Another idea that make all skill point giving quests account wide.

It’s a convenience versus monetization thing, which is why they would never do it.

ESO’s Crown Store has always been sold as a matter of convenience, and pushed as things became increasingly less so in-game.

One such example, was back when you used to need to refine raw style materials, and need multiple levels of soul gems.

Inventory bloat was so obvious and horrible that it was a no-brainer to buy ESO+, while that has gotten a lot better, there are more than enough items in the game now that any new player would be forced into the subscription to enjoy playing their game.

Which brings us to the point I’m trying to make, if it’s extremely tedious to farm skill points, it becomes extremely likely people will outright buy them in the form of Skyshards.

Here's an idea - let's just skip everything, create a character and win the game! Create some more characters and we don't even need to win the game again as everything is account-wide  !

If on the other hand we want actually to play the game, we'll still be able to do so by buying a "Play the Game" token in the Crown Store!

So you want to play the game, but also don't want to play the game?

Don't know what reasons have topicstarter for wanting to skip quests, and idea looks strange at first sight, but... I have some quests (and questlines) I'd like to skip - though I like ESO quests in general.

First of all, and quite universal - starting quests of guilds and most of all - Thieves Guild.

Second, I'd want to check some quests with or without completing previous content. Coldharbour, exactly, for old debates about doing silver and gold before or after. I have a guide about order of doing quests, comparison would be useful there. I prefer to check everything myself, but that will mean doing all three alliances again. Even first time Dominion was so boring for me than it took literally years! That's much more personal thing, but I believe there are other players who would like to have characters count like they finished something (for we-already-met dialogs, for example, or roleplaying reasons) without actually repeating long, boring or uncomfortable quests.

    Oh, and companion starting quests!
