Crate not available, Twitch Drops

Today's stream said that an XP scroll and a crate were up as drops on Twitch. The scroll was there, but no crate. Not an option on the Twitch campaign screen.

There is no new crate just for this stream.

There is currently a drops campaign for Ascent of the Arcanist which has a free XP scroll followed by a free crate (you must claim the scroll before you start progressing toward the crate). That campaign started a few days ago and is still going on for a few (several?) more days.

That is the crate that they referred to. If you already claimed it earlier this week by watching other ESO streamers, you won't see any progress while watching ESO Live because you've already earned and claimed the crate. But if you hadn't finished earning the crate before then you'll be able to finish your progress during this stream-- or some other stream-- and claim it.

The only additional drop which is specific to just this ESO Live stream is an additional XP scroll.

So if you already got the first XP scroll and crate prior to this ESO Live, you will only earn a second XP scroll now.

But if you had not watched any other ESO streamers this week, you can get the ongoing XP scroll and crate from the week-long drops campaign going on right now, plus the second scroll that's just for this ESO Live stream.

You have to unlock the scroll first, then you can start unlocking the crate

That didn't work for me. All I got was the scroll.

For the twitch stream that is the only thing you get. The crate is unlocked through watching stream team members. I got mine from watching Delia.

Yes, but the scroll and crate which you can get from watching other streamers should have also been earnable and claimable during the ESO Live stream-- IF AND ONLY IF you had not already earned and claimed them prior to watching ESO Live.

Note that I had already claimed them the other day, so I couldn't verify this; all I got was the second XP scroll which was exclusive to this ESO Live stream.

But that's how it should have worked.

If for whatever reason someone didn't get the crate earlier in the week and wasn't able to earn it during this ESO Live stream, the drops campaign for that crate is still going on for a few more days, so they can still earn it by watching other streamers.

it's a second drop. you have to get the first drop, then progress starts on the second.

So to clarify this. You only get a scroll from the stream and no crate? The eso article on the news page of eso website said this.

It's part of the AotA promotion.. while the first opportunity to get it was during their stream, you can watch other eso streams to get it.

Actually, the first opportunity to get it was a few days before the ESO Live stream, when the AotA promotion started. I suspect that's why a lot of players (myself included) didn't receive any progress for it during the ESO Live stream-- because we already claimed the crate before the ESO Live stream from watching other ESO streamers.

As I recall the crate required watching an ESO stream for 2 hours-- 1 hour to earn an XP scroll, which you were required to claim before any progress could be made toward the crate, then 1 additional hour to earn the crate.

The extra XP scroll that was exclusively awarded for watching the ESO Live stream required watching for only 15 minutes IIRC, or if that isn't right then certainly no longer than 30 minutes.

If anyone hadn't already earned the first XP scroll and the crate, and wasn't able to watch the ESO Live stream for 2+ hours, those are both still available from watching other ESO streamers during the promotion, which lasts for several more days.
