Does the enchanting levelling trick work on one account?

Hi, I read, that the best way to level up enchanting is to work with other player, create a lot of runes then send it to him for deconstructing and vice versa. But my question is, does it work also with your mulitple characters on one account?

Lets say a create all those runes with one toon, then deposit it into the bank and withdraw it with another. Will the other toon still get the full inspiration xp for that?

i've done it that way for all my alts. if you look at this page, gaining inspiration section, point #5 shows this is viable. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Enchanting#Gaining_Inspiration

Yes, it works. I'm using that approach right now, creating lots of glyphs on my main (grand master crafter) char, then deconstructing them with my 7 new crafting alts. The only drawback is you need a LARGE supply of runes, because it takes a lot of glyphs to level up enchanting.

The big problems are such, you need large amount of resources to do it. Based on what is most cost efficient I recommend green or blue runes. And weapon enchants. And bank space. But I have done this process many many times.

You do get less when it is your other characters making the glyphs.

It's better to find a buddy who also needs to level enchanting, so that you can make glyphs for each other. Rinse and repeat as needed.

Can you clarify, please? Do you mean you get less inspiration from deconstructing glyphs from another character in the same account, compared to another character in a different account?

You get the most inspiration if another account makes the glyphs vs. another character on the same account makes the glyphs. One of the few benefits of console over PC is it is pretty easy to create a new account without purchasing the game again.

    Stay safe :)

Thanks, that was useful information. A pity I only have 1 ESO account, then. I'm currently leveling up 7 new alt crafters, and just as with my main char, enchanting and jewelry are taking the longest. I'm crafting large stacks of glyphs on my main and deconstructing them on the alts, but it's still a slow process.

I tested this recently and deconstructing glyphs crafted on another account gives the exact same inspiration reward as deconstructing glyphs crafted on another character on the same account. So you don't need another account, just another character.

(Deconstructing glyphs made from any other character gives 10x the inspiration as deconstructing glyphs made from the same character.)

Thanks, just what I like to hear! :) I'll get those 7 alts leveled up in enchanting eventually. It's a long, hard slog, but I'm getting there. My main char's been crafting about 90 glyphs, passing them to an alt via the bank, and this gets the alt leveled up through several levels, although the number of level increases is slowing down, since the higher levels require more XP to complete.

One thing -- you get a couple of crafting levels from learning different runes (i.e., crafting with them for the first time). Which particular levels those are is somewhat under your control.

also quality matters. think it was 150 or 170 purple repora glyphs to level from 1 to 50.

with the addon "personal assistant" you can auto move all of them to the bank when opening it.
if you have space and resources, it basically takes 5 min to level up since multicraft/multidecon. :)

Can also confirm. Making glyphs on one character and decon’ing them on another is effective for levelling. I make purple max level glyphs using whatever I have most of in the other runes.
On the new character I always put the most skill points into their enchanting level and into the extraction passive. Also have the green champion to maximise extraction. You do end up with less runes than you started with. Rekuta isn’t too expensive tho.

Unfortunately, I have to stick to the 'Ta' glyphs, as I only have 700 Rekuta and 7 alt crafters to level up in enchanting. :(
I'm getting there, though: they're all in the 30s for enchanting now.

Zeal of Zenithar in 2 days will definitely give my alt crafters a boost to their leveling, though. :)
