Mythic Idea

Inspired by Mora's whispers, an idea for a mythic that encourages engagement with PVP and PVE to get the most of it.

"Completionists medal" Mythic Amulet

-gain 1.something WD/SD for each veteran dungeon and trial completed (about 150-175 wd/sd with 100%)
-Gain 30ish critical rating for every alliance war rank your character has achieved (about 7.5 crit chance at rank 50)


the idea is a stat dense mythic on par with Markyn that gets better for PVP by doing PVE and gets better for PVE by doing PVP

    the main problem i have with basing it on alliance ranks is those are a an enormous grind to hit 50, honestly this is way way way more grindy than even completing all dungeons and trials on vet, or even mages guild books for the moras whispers

    im not sure what else i would use as a tracking, but the pvp rank requirement is far far too grindy

    i also wouldnt include both of the requirements on the same mythic, maybe 2 different mythics

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    While the idea is neat, the grind vs the proposed bonus gained simply wouldn't be worth it, you would have to really beef it up and then all that would do is create a divide between the haves and the haves not.

    these are good points. The grind mechanic would have to be rethought, but I like the idea of a mythic that rewards you for advancing in both endgame tracts with up to 3 and a half lines of stats (which is about what markyn gives on a 5 front 5 back set up)

    How about this:

    Boost your damage against players by 2% for every dungeon completed through the activity finder, stacking up to 5 times.

    Boost your damage against monsters by 2% for every battleground completed through the activity finder, stacking up to 5 times.

    These effects last for 48 hours

    Alternatively:

    Gain 2000 gold every time you help a player through a dungeon they have not yet completed on their account. This amount is doubled for veteran dungeons and you gain a bonus 5000 gold for hard mode.

    Gain 4000 gold every time you help a player though a trial they have not yet completed on their account. This amount is doubled for veteran trials and you gain a bonus 10000 for hard mode.

    The amount of gold would need to be considerbly higher to compete with the craft loop, but again a solid idea
    For those of you unaware the craft loop is a means to make over 90k gold a day just by doing daily crafting writs on multipul characters seeing as each run nets you about 4.6K gold and you can have up to 20 characters now.

    Personally I'd go with one that increases the drop rate of rare drops based on the % of achivement points earned
    Lets say zos released the thing and it gave +100% drop rate when maxed out, Due to how the maths would work +100% would NOT mean 100% chance at getting rare drops, it would mean that your current drop rate, lets say 2% is increased by +100% of its value, to 4%

    I’ve got one main that has done everything, read everything, and that would be pretty cool for them.

    It seems like they’re always after something that really sets a mythic apart. I just had an idea myself, not quite related to completion of of parts of the game, but more about completion of sets. Maybe a wild card mythic that can be a substitute fill in the last piece of the sets you wear, maybe up to 3 or 4 sets. so instead of everyone running 1 piece slimecraw, 2 x 5 piece sets, 1x mythic, it might give people more customizable options

    you could have a couple of 4/5 piece sets, 1 piece of your favorite monster set, and the mythic fills in the rest of the three sets, and then you get room for an extra arena weapon on front bar

    But if you are in a groups with three players who have never done a dungeon the gold value would be tripled. It would be x11 in a trial full of noobs.

    oooh so essentially you can get super paid for super carrying with this mythic. That's a great idea.
