HM scroll for all dungeons

you arrive at the last boss and hm fail because low level player doesnt know the tricky to activate the hard mode without a scroll.
of course this happend to me when i was low level, and i was kiked out from the group sometimes.
so, it will be nice an adjustment.

✭✭✭Nothing to say against a scroll, but this shouldn't change how hm is to be played in said dungeons. Otherwise this would end in deletion of content.Never get between a cat and it's candy!

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.0 -

✭That's the risk you take running HMs with pugs, even if there was a scroll, there's no guarantee that your random teammate would click on it, or wait for it to be clicked. So either way you have to restart the fight and hope the random listens to you. But I agree that in some cases it's worse than others, like in Darkshade 2 where someone can activate a lever without anyone else noticing and that's it, RIP HM.Edited by amig186 on July 17, 2023 1:12PMPC EU0 -

✭I think "alternate mechs" as hard mode is kind of fun when done right.
But yeah, scrolls are easier ..
The beef I have with scroll is that, when you wipe (don't ask ..), it reset back to normal, and we can forget to enable hard mode again.1 -

The upside to resetting to normal after a wipe is that if you're stuck in a group that's not good enough to complete hard mode you can still (potentially) complete the dungeon.1 -

Indeed. It should be a toggle, like in the later trials.1 -

SoraJP✭✭✭Remove the scrolls from all the dungeons and place challenge banners. That way you can just toggle all of them, no need to reactivate after a wipe, and can be toggled off if need be. Can also add them to places where the hard mode could not be turned off such as Aetherian Archive.PC/NA Khajiit Warden Main3 -

✭Newer DLC dungeon have remarkable HM switch at the gate of the boss area.
Just...some old dungeon have strange game mechanics.My playing time Mon-Friday UTC13:00-16:00 [PC-NA] CP over2000 now.
