Here is my ordered list, and I look forward to the discussion. If you disagree, please offer an alternative list or order in your comments. Notably, I do not think Crows needs nerfed, so it is not included.

1. FIX THE RANKING SYSTEM!
  • The game is RNG based with large luck. The current system uses a rank system based on chess, which has neither RNG nor luck. In ToT, a proper rank system requires multiple games between two players to understand who should be ranked higher. A longer season may be necessary (timed with DLC Releases?).
  • Minimize any rank dependencies based on a win rate multiplied by the number of games played
  • Provide mechanisms that minimize people exploiting the ranking system (stopping play at a certain score, paying to win, playing against people who purposely lose to advance one player, using multiple accounts).
2. NERF ALMALEXIA
  • Confines REQUIRE taunt
  • Potentially cap the number of cards held by confine (or a maximum duration)
  • Break Almalexia into two decks: one for card cycling and the other for opponent mitigation
3. ADDRESS STARTING PICK ADVANTAGE
  • Huge win rate difference between first and second pick
  • Replace the extra gold in second pick with an already upgraded writ of coin. The writ of coin will last the game's duration and may reduce the win rate disparity enough to avoid major tweaks (such as addressing the cost of cards like Armory).
4. INCREASE COMPETITORS
  • Add ToT to base game (decks like Druid still require expansions)
  • Add mobile game
  • Make ToT playable across platforms?
5. REMOVE NECESSITY TO RE-RANK TO RUBEDITE FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS
  • Any player who is in Rubedite and has at least 10 wins in that season should automatically be granted Rubedite level in the subsequent season
  • Less experienced players get discouraged playing against more advanced ones. (Rubedite players should not play against lower ranked people).

    1. Fix the ranking system (including Rubedite needing to rerank against lower tier players)
    2. Change the penalty for concession
    3. Address Early game balance
    4. Address the balance of mechanisms that negatively impact your opponents deck rather than benefiting your own. Cheap, Spammable, Permanent. Pick 2. Looking at you confine agents and bewilderment cards
    5. Make ToT base game so there's more opponents

    I don't agree confine agents require taunt or that it needs to be split. I think making it a temporary confine or putting a cap would be enough. I actually think a taunt would completely ruin that card.
