Joining a guild of another alliance

Is it possible to join a guild of somebody of another alliance?

Yes, you can chat to people in it and everything... you will not however be able to capture keeps for your alliance in pvp

As @Rantolo said, you can be a member of a guild that is with another alliance, but you will not be able to fight for them or get their buffs...

Some guilds have members and or toons in multiple alliances. As stated the guild can only capture and hold keeps in the guilds stated alliance. You can have a member from that guild make a toon in your alliance and you can play the whole game together, it just won't count towards the guild score if you will, but your personal standing still counts.
