Does anyone else get the urge to adopt Tato?

Every time I pass him and see him snoozing there so peacefully, I wish for a Tato of my own.

He has no owner as far as I know, and I wouldn't want to disturb him.
But having a pack guar to take on adventures would be so rad.

He has an harness so assume he has an owner.
    Where is this?
And I thought you wanted to get an tattoo and clicked to see the design 😺

It is in Vvardenfell, by a camp underneath a large boulder west of Missir-Dadalit Egg Mine. Its just off the road.

    Everyone has their tastes!
    Some want Tato,
    others want cats or dogs,
or nothing at all since why would a vulnerable creature follow you out in the open and survive in places like Oblivion?
Or some find the pets annoying.
    All have fair preferences.

    What do you prefer?

Would love a pack guar for a pet, would just be so cool to have them running around all geared up. I have the regular guar pet (the larger one), but it always looks so naked, haha, I dunno - I think a pack would be a welcomed addition!

Very small non-combat pets - preferably those which make very little movement or noise. Right now about the only one that really fits that description is the Sterling Cavy. Oh, the Alinor Ringtail and the Grahtwood Fisher are pretty "calm and quiet" too.

I get what you mean. From the flying pets I really like the torchbugs or butterflies but the movement is not your thing.
I really like those as well. Some days I just want to do things calm and slow. They remind me of bush-babies, but I think the Alinor Ringtail is based of off a Ringtail cat, which is raccoon related. I interchange them on one of my Altmer.

We have ringtail cats here where I live (very shy, almost never seen). The Alinor Ringtail is much like them - actually only the eyes are not close to the ringtail cats' eyes.

The Grahtwood Fisher is mostly a recolor of the Alinor Ringtail.

The owner of that guar can be found walking around on the roads in the area. He will tell you he's looking for his guar.

I would be distraught if I lost my guar in Tamriel. That's livelihood right there.

It reminds me of the woman in Deshaan, Veru Serethran, who is mourning her guar, Little Monster.
Losing a companion like that must be awful.

Do you walk into a shop and say: "Nope. I don't like what you sell" Then walk out? Reading the sign above the door may have saved you the trouble. I don't walk into the adult Guar store just to astonish and horrify myself. It's OK to be curious though.

Guar is made of different stuff than people, and is not afraid of work. Guar will carry your pack to stay in perfect Guar shape for Guar mating season. Now, who is the beast, and who is the burden? Guar just need you to make ends meet before making it big on their own.
