Bug: Timberscar Goblins near Cropsford do not count Cyrodiil Goblins Fighters Guild bounty

I had the Goblin bounty today in Cyrodiil from their Fighters Guild quest, and went hunting near Cropsford. (Despite being Daggerfall Covenant.)

The Bloody Hand goblins, skirmishing and sneaking around the north of town, counted for the bounty.

However, the Timberscar goblins, south of town, did not count. I killed five of them, starting off at 6/10, and finished still at 6/10. (No other player was nearby, I definitely got the kills.)

Had to wait for the Bloody Hands to respawn.

When I do that quest near Cropsford, I usually go to the Cracked Wood Cave delve which is just NNW of Cropsford. There are usually 10 goblins outside of the delve, but if someone else recently killed most of them then there are more inside the delve.

Edit: I happened to have the goblins bounty quest so I just went to Cropsford. I can confirm that the Timberscar goblins do not count for the bounty. I ended up killing goblins at Cracked Wood Cave as I usually do. This was on PC EU, if it matters.

Edit #2: Also, it turns out that the goblins at Cracked Wood Cave are Bloody Hand goblins. The main advantage of killing them at Cracked Wood Cave rather than around Cropsford is that there are 10 of them in the area just outside the cave.

Edit #3: A spelling correction and a bit of extra verbiage for clarification.

What do you even get for those quests?

Don't think I've ever done one.

Fighters Guild bounty quests in Cyrodiil. Need to spend a skill point which can only be spent when you have level 9 in Fighters Guild, it's a passive skill allowing you to take PvE bounty quests (goblins, bandits, necromancers etc.) in Cyrodiil.

Also, the inn from which you get them is in the *other* home area to all the regular Cyrodiil quests... for instance, for the Covenant, all the Warfront / Conquest / Scouting quests are in the South gate, but the Fighters Guild quests are inside the inn at the North gate.

Yep, which is also where the crafting stations, bank, and Cyrodiil gear merchants are-- at least for DC. I honestly haven't spent enough time in Cyrodiil on my many AD and EP alts to be very familiar with the AD and EP bases.

Don't think I've ever done one.

You get a Fighters Guild reward coffer, which contains 2 pieces of gear-- a random piece of Cyrodiil set gear, and a random piece of ornate gear (IIRC). You also get a bit of gold (IIRC) and some AP-- more AP than a scouting mission, and less AP than a capture resource mission (IIRC). And during the Mayhem event you also get a Pelinal's event coffer.

Edit: I've never done the Fighters Guild bounty missions for AD and EP, but for DC there are 4 possible missions-- kill 10 goblins, kill 10 Black Daggers, kill 10 Grey Vipers, kill 10 Shadowed Path. Usually you can pick up a new one after turning one in, until you've done all 4, but for some reason all 4 aren't always available; sometimes you get only 3, or 2, or 1. I'm not sure if they go in a specific cycle and it depends on which mission was offered first, or what the reason is. In any case, you can often get the Fighters Guild bounty missions done at the same time as some of the town daily quests, so it can be a good idea to pick up a bounty mission before heading to the towns to do the town dailies.

I knew of these quests but never looked them up.

It sounds like they are worth doing just to get the gear for the sticker book.
