[REQUEST] Rhajin & Almalexia: Maintain Bewilderment cards in your hand until end of turn

Almalexia is a nice patron to throw away useless cards in the hope to get a better one. Unfortunately bewilderment cards in one's hand are automatically discarded so they cannot be swapped against another card when the right Alma card is played. So I suggest that one can keep all bewilderment cards in one's hand until thrown by Almalexia or actively discarded for changing them in the treasury. Actually they could just be played like any normal card except that they give nothing.

True and one other note. But it could be a bad idea. If your opponent makes you discard cards at the start of your turn you can discard bewilderment cards. These two thing hinders each other.

    How?

At the moment when you have to discard cards because of your opponent's move you already can keep the b cards in your had to discard them.

What I request is that b cards should be playable like any other card. So that you either can drop them in order to exchange via treasure, or because you played an Alma card or because your opponent forces you to drop a card.

    Where's the problem?

I think that’s the exact point of a Bewilderment card: the player getting them shouldn’t make a benefit out of it. With Almalexia, a Bewilderment would basically be a free discard which benefits you twice by 1) getting rid of it and 2) getting the combos for Almalexia.

This would work when discarding a Bewilderment card with Almalexia wouldn’t cause any Almalexia card bonuses as it would be a natural counter then. But with benefitting Alma combos it would be not be a simple counter anymore, it would be part of your strategy.

I think this is a good counterplay idea. There should be more counterplay to Bewilderment cards, right now there is very little. It shouldn't be "I paid a small amount of coin so I have control over your deck permanently with almost no ability to counterplay." It's a toxic game design that makes an already overpowered early game advantage even worse. If there were more cards or decks that could cause a bewilderment to do nothing or even backfire, then there would be more risk to spamming it. And that deck certainly deserves more risk.

Defeats the purpose of Rahjin bewilderments, which is to waste a slot in your hand.

But only with Alma this can be changed just like with the random kill cards of red eagle. It is one counter functionality of the Alma deck. I think this is part of patron functionality: counter some abilities of other decks. I think it is good to have one deck that can, with the right cards in your hand, counter that specific ability of rhajin.

I mean, you can use Rhajin or Psijic to counter the tanking ability of Pelin. No one ever complained about that.

Red eagle counters Rahjin already by tossing cards with its endless opportunities to do so.

So? We have two patrons that can counter Pelin but you say there should be only one for countering Rhajin? I think it is a fair option to be able to throw bewilderment cards during the initial draw with Almalexia so players can chose between Eagle and Alma to counter Rhajin.
