How valuable is combat prayer being spammed close to 100% up time to a trial groups.

There are other bus that I could ask about. I figured I would just stick with this first one.

The reason I ask, I am currently having a rough transition to rigid rules and requirements of endgame group/guilds and wanting to do the trifecta content.

With Pithka clears, animation cancelling, making sure I have access to multiple sets of gear and "don't rez if you are a healer. leave it for the DPS, even if the tank is in front of you and you have the CP for faster rez" ect.

Trying to fit myself into this box is frustrating to say the least.

I have looked at a good amount of endgame guilds and joined their discords to read up on their requirements and expectations. They are very similar as far as requirements go.

So I figured I would ask.

The better uptimes, the better you are as a healer. The goal is max uptimes on every buff/debuff/HoT, although that is not always possible. Combat prayer uptime is important for minor resolve and minor berserk. Your DPS are dependent on you for those buffs. You don’t NEED to weave as a healer but LAing on enchant cooldown is necessary. You need the gear to fit each situation, especially when it comes to trifectas in… anything other than Cloudrest. Definitely do not res as a healer, those who are alive need you to heal them. Only res when no dps are available to do so in a dungeon environment, never in a trial. People will die while you’re ressing, I speak from multiple experiences. Slotting res CP is a waste of a spot. It’s a bit harsh, but I think you’re trying to overshoot your realistic goals right now. Start out practicing with vet trials and dungeons, focus on learning uptimes and your gear. Then work through the hardmodes. Once you’re practiced in the hardmodes… then you can go for trifectas.

    1) why do you have rez cp slotted as a healer? Basically, time you are rezzing is time you are not keeping people alive. If people are telling you not to rez because it's because they are seeing a domino effect when you do. I had this problem with a healer in my group. Drove me up the wall.

    2) you don't need to "spam" combat prayer. The buff lasts 8 seconds, 11 if you are the Rojo healer. It is your burst heal and it's what you should spam if you need to top people off, but you don't need to spam it every single second.

    3) trifectas demand that everyone do their absolute best, and focus hard on improving. If you would rather question the need for improvement rather than how to improve, trifectas may not be your niche in the game.
