In low level mmr it seemed like it was, in higher level, or against any one decent that can apply any kind of pressure its bottom tier. As I say you have to play defensive with no crux it has no heals, amd if you go offensive with no crux it has no dmg

The class has other shortcomings in PvP, of course. Problem is if you use non-class abilities to shore up the weaknesses, you miss out on crux passives.
Xbox player , leveld to 50 and been playing in bgs getting the mmr up and its only when you start to get higher you notice the real lack of dmg and especially healing this class class, no proper burst heal and without crux it has no dmg..the problem being you need crux for your heals/shield so if your on the defensive you cannot get back on the front foot because you will need the crux for defence again especially out numbered..
Really wanted to like this class as in Pve it's great but pvp it's no where near the other classes. Crux is needed to get the same damage and defence potential as other classes but you can't have both at the same time and without any crux it's bottom tier easily.

The tentacle is not burst damage. Even at 20% health it hits for like 4k against good players.
It hits for nothing. Plus it's really clunky.
