[PC/EU] The Seeker's Archive quest bugged

The last response to my ticket was on 10-Nov-2023. Here is the text of that response (name redacted):

We have discovered that some players are still having issues with "The Seeker's Archive" after Update 39. Low and behold, I am one of those players as well!

This has been escalated to our development team and they are looking into another fix for this quest.

I am a little annoyed that the ticket was closed before the problem is actually fixed. When I was an IT manager, I would have fired anyone who did that to a customer, lol.

BUT... I interpret this as "we know about the issue, and there is an internal task in the development team backlog to fix it." So, I think all we can do is wait.

Huzzah, it's in the patch notes that the issue has been fixed.

Patch notes says issue is fixed but... I now can speak to the statue but the quest doesn't progress further (like I haven't spoken to the statue).

Well the patch notes read:

"Seeker's Archive: Fixed an issue where you couldn't talk with Hermaeus Mora's statue if you had previously completed the Necrom storyline."

Which is true you can now have the conversation, just cannot go any further in the quest.

Which speaks volumes in about the state of the game.

Same issue. I get more options than before, but after all that and the Goodbye, I still have the "Talk to.." for the quest. No continuation of the quests.

After seeing the Dec-5 patch notes, I abandoned the quest and started from scratch. When I arrived at the Statue, there were several additional dialog frames than before the Dec-5 patch. I answered each one, and after the last one... The quest is still not completed. The quest journal still directs me to "Talk to Hermaeus Mora's Statue", and the quest symbol still appears on the statue.

Going through all the dialog options again, doesn't work. Immediately selecting "Goodbye" doesn't work. Going through some dialog options, then selecting Goodbye, doesn't work. STILL STUCK HERE AND CANNOT COMPLETE QUEST. There is still something wrong with the dialog tree and quest completion.

Here are the dialog options I get now -- which all lead to the same DEAD END as before.

Tried Seekers Archive again after patch and still bugged. You can speak to Mora and then game will still not progress.

Yes, quest still bugged. After conversation with Hermeus quest marker will not switch to Ibrula — she doesn't have a new dialog option.

I am also running into this same bug, stuck talking to the statue over and over. Just tested it 4 minutes ago

This also didn't work for me - I've finished Necrom MQ but not Craglorn if that plays a factor!

Should I bother opening a ticket?

January 28, 2024. STILL bugged. Can you say we have been deceived? I do not believe they are trying to fix it. And personally i don't like being lied to. Especially since I have now been here over 10 years subbed. Not nice ZOS.

Still broken on PCNA. My main character has completed Necrom, and now I cannot complete the Seeker's Archive quest. This blocks both map completing Craglorn and the related achievement.

I have. I think others have too. They made a change, so that you get further, but it's still not completable. I don't think more pressure is going to change anything, but, hey, what are they going to do? Just close it and mark it as a dupe?

I never submitted a ticket since the issue was already covered here and it was clear they were aware, but I guess it will be needed.

Just ran into this issue today on my necromancer who has never been to the necrom chapter areas before. I can't talk to the statue at all.

I too have just run into this issue - on pc/na - I can interact with the statue but this quest does not progress further after completing the dialogue and my journal entry remains the same - that I must speak to the statue.

After today's PC patch, i am still unable to even start speaking to the mora statue @ZOS_Kevin

To clarify again, my character has never even been to the telvanni peninsula or apocrypha before.
