Did anyone get Coral Aerie lead NOT from Z'Baza?

Some guides say "likely all secret bosses". Any lucky players that got the lead from secret bosses other than Z'Baza?

Not me! 3 people in my group got it from Z'Baza on our first run.

All secret bosses are true for Graven Deep, but probably not for this one. I had something like 15 runs for first side boss and 2 full runs for whole dungeon and no luck there.

Ran the dungeon 7 times and it dropped from the last secret boss, same with my group mates

Got it from Z'Baza (and I think it was on vet) in the second or third full dungeon run. This was after trying to forgo a group and solo farming the first secret boss a handful of times without getting the lead. Got the Graven Deep lead from the first side boss on the first attempt.

It's really bad to put lead into secret bosses - it was supposed to be additional attraction for some dungeon explorers and how you are suppsed to farm this with pugs which wants just to fast run? Most of people are nice and won't be doing you a problem, but there are always less nice people or these ones who just don't read chat. Last night I was doing Coral Aerie with PUG, we did all 3 side bossess and I specifically asked to stay after last boss but one player just left. Luckily we were able to open portal and defeat Z'Baza but was very unpleasant expierience - just imagine that you are doing whole dungeon with all side bosses and at the end people jsut abandon you and you lost whole run... This is really bad game design...

Thank you everybody for sharing your experience. My biggest concern that it is the secret boss AFTER the last boss, so with PUGs it will be always a gamble that everyone will stay and wait for the portal even if they consent to doing the side bosses.

So far I had only 1 run yesterday with a very nice team where one person was also after the lead and the other two did not mind helping. But I'm afraid that it will not always be the case (the more the older content will get).

The human aspect is what ruins Bastian Nymic as well. I've been trying to help people whenever they post looking for groups in zone chat, and everyone just wants to kill one side boss and then run straight to the final boss. Very few people are interested in doing the puzzles for the complete experience.

I'm one of those people that want to do fast runs now in Bastion Nymic if I start the group (I always start with ichor already gathered). If someone else is starting it it's up to them. The issue with the puzzles there is that they do not offer anything after you completed them once. The fastest probably the Mora one (the order of the glyphs stay always the same, right?). In the other two you need to run into additional rooms to gather the required items, AND they can get buggy in a group. It's just not worth doing.

I found it the best to do the puzzles for achievements solo since they are before the first big boss.

In the dungeons you at least can get gear you cannot get anywhere else (if the sticker book is not full).

Fair enough, however you do get two additional loot drops from each side if you do the puzzle and the side boss. You can also get furnishing plans and leads, so there is that. Now that being said, I can understand that most people just want to get it done so that they can turn their daily in, which is why Bastian Nymic shouldn't be a daily.

I agree. I, like probably many people at this point, are going for 30 dailies. So, quantity over quality.

At this point it's not even quality as some of the side boss areas are still bugging. I tried to help a group knock out the puzzles yesterday and the book area didn't spawn any of the books or enemies. Good times!

Great, 3 times people left Coral Aerie right in start, 2 times tanks so waiting 15-20 minutes just wasted. Great job ZOS with this lead, people loved it!

Have you considered duo it with one person (or more?) you know or a guildie who actually knows what you want from there?

Sadly yet another thread was moved here. I understand the intent, but that really does not help players seeing how many posts people are making here comparing to General. Threads come here to die.

For me it will not work. I'm not in a guild, and people I started playing with no longer play. I feel it's a bad design to place a lead in a boss that is AFTER the dungeon is already considered complete.

Tried doing only the first hidden boss a dozen times without succes. So ran the whole thing solo, (was happy to find out vampire sprint let me by pass 95% of the trash), and Z'Baza dropped the lead on the first try.
Also got the lead from Graven Deep, and that's that mythic done.

I feel that is what I need to do too. I did Coral Aerie solo once for the story but without the side bosses. Was not easy for me (my reflexes and DPS are not great), but I do not see a lot of choices here.

Z'Baza is an annoying fight, gotta keep moving to avoid bombs and takes a while. The other hidden bosses aren't a big deal though.

You do not need 4 players. You can watch soloing in Alcast's guide for the coral Aerie. Just stepped on one plate.

People aren't trying to farm the lead on Vet, right? I imagine people are more amenable to helping on normal. I ran it 2-3 times on normal, asked at the beginning to do the secret bosses, and even re-ran it with some members of the PUG group.

It's inconvenient that it's from secret bosses because of the grouping issue. Even with 5 guilds and an active friends list, it's hard to find a group that isn't a PUG.

I do not know about Vet as I do not run Vet DLC dungeons unless I REALLY want the helmet. I was doing normal runs and luckily I got it on the second or third run. On that run I think everyone needed the lead.

I still feel that it was bad design to put the lead into the secret boss that is after the dungeon is complete. I can be ok now, but once the majority gets it, people most likely will be in trouble with this one unless they manage to form their own group.

you need however many people were in your group when you got to the final boss

if you solod the entire thing, you can solo the 4th extra boss

if you go in with 4 people who are still present at the end, then you would need all 4 people on the plates

I get lead couple days ago after 10 runs and it was definitely worst dungeon lead experience ever. I tried queue as DD but long waiting and people living dungeon at beginning (especially tanks) were not fun. I tried once solo and manage to do it, but it was long and tedious, so mostly I tanked myself (with real tank, not fake one) and some runs were fun and some were real slog (it's not very quick when tank make half of dps).

It would be so much easier if ZOS just put this lead into ALL side bosses, not only final one. Pls, don't do something like this EVER.
