Frequent disconnects: "Unexpected internal error"

Since Necrom, I have been experiencing frequent disconnects. It say an unexpected internal error occurred. It then takes ages to log back in again. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Nothing about my PC setup has changed. I have a stable Internet connection. ESO was running fine before. I am not sure what to do. I have created exceptions in anti-virus, done all the stuff that has been recommended, but to no avail.

I am running Windows 11 Pro. Version 22H2. Build 22621.1848. My PC has 32GB RAM, a Nvidia 4070 Ti GPU, and a Ryzen 7800X3D CPU.

    Yeah this is still a persistent issue despite troubleshooting. Since Necrom it has become a consistent problem amongst most groups I'm in. Instead of palming it off on the customers end, consider that something that zenimax did when necrom dropped has created an issue, and perhaps it needs attention at zenimax.
    We shouldn't have to hard reset as much as we do to combat problems that this game generates.

    Ever since Update 39, I am subjected to repeated disconnects.
    Most commonly it's "unexpected internal error occurred" .

    My normal activity:
    Since Necrom, I barely do anything in game besides working on addons. I can't stand being in a world polluted by arcanists.
    While working on addons, even just attempting to look through controls in Mer Torchbug, after a moment I'll be disconnected from server. Reconnect. That UI error I'm working on is still there in dbug log viewer. Tab out. start to make an adjustment. Disconnected form server within seconds.

    This is not an addon issue. I just log into world, wait 30 seconds or so, disconnected from server.

    Are you saying the process for updating is, "let game update< run diagnostic software, submit ticket"?

    U39 caused a lot of problems for me. Such as the above and, I can no longer leave the launcher running to receive updates or patches while sleeping because, when the servers go down my launcher gets stuck in some manifest error loop.

    I started filling out a ticket until I get stopped at requiring some "Game Consultant file"

    This is infuriating. Beartram is waiting for me to send them my updates to LibScrollableMenu but I can't even stay in game for simple testing.

    If none of the troubleshooting steps provided in this thread have resolved your issue, then making a ticket with Support would be your next step.
