If you can create a new skill line what will it be

This can be lore based and or completely made up. Listing abilities are optional. The skill lines can be unlocked by purchase, achievement, quests, or random.

I'll start ..

A food fight skill line.
Not weapon based and any class can use.
Active abilities:
1. Sandwich slap- auto attack enemy by hitting it with a BLT, deals base damage
2. Oozing caramel- AOE that is on the ground and slows down enemies but heals players
3. Crispy fries- aoe damage effect, throws sharp burnt French fries at enemies dealing DOT effects all in front of the player
4. Sushi roll- summons a giant rolling sushi that knocks back and damaging enemies in a line.
5. Waffle wall- shields players and heals them until enemy completely eats it (enemy will recieve armor reduction)
6. Ultimate: summons a large crate of food that flies out everywhere with in range. Food items will contain random buff or debuff to both players and enemies.

What's your idea of a new skill line?

I know it's not feasible, but if I could choose freely I'd create a weapons skill line for double bladed swords and battle staffs.
Never get between a cat and it's candy!

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

Two Weapon Skill Line: Spears and proper (Battle)Staffs.

It's what the game lacks. More diversity. Less streamlined gameplay.

If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

Vigilant of stendar skill line that requires you to be not vamp or wolf. Provides offensive and defensive bonuses against all sorts of supernatural beings in pvp and pve. Active skills like:

    -An affordable self only cleanse
-A move like imbue weapon that only fires on heavy attacks and lasts longer
-A shield that increases in potency based on how many daedra, undead, werewolves are within range
    -A pre-buffable major brut/sorc
-A mark skill that applies a vulnerability and bonus move speed while approaching the target
-A transformation ultimate that gives resists and wd/sd+ some benefit that's shared with allies. Like you turn into a champion of the light for 12 seconds.

    passives like:

    -damaging a daedra/undead/werewolf gives x wd/sd for y seconds
-heal for x when damaged under 50% health. can only happens once every y seconds
-provide x critical resist to all allies within y range, non stacking
-When you die you explode for x damage, daedra/undead/werewolf take y% extra
-Some kind of fun Van Helsing RP passive. Detect evil? daedra/undead/werewolf get a mark above their head?

Would require a rework of that one fighters guild passive, and turn evil could be moved to this skill line. I love vamp 3, but done right a vigilant of stendar line could make it a really difficult choice.

A modest range of non-combat skills, or utility spells, for non-combat situations. I miss things like ‘Calming Touch’ or ‘Candlelight’ from ES IV. Generally, stuff not locked to a class. I prefer flexibility of build over theme.

1.a proper summoning skillline with atronachs(morphs would enable 6 on 2 skills), race based summon(s), aedric/daedric apparition/summon(classic), monkey/chicken or birdlady on one, a bear on another, and temp argonian and ghost on another(still wondering why theres no tank skelknight in the tank SL for necro). yes yes, summons are effectively independent dots, some with secondary effects.

    2.taming, gw2 ranger collection style

3.higher intelligence monster contracts, with personality options, ie snarky/coy/happy nereid, etc.

some all of the above should use a resource reservation feature of 20-50%.

Maybe a pet skill line that enables your non combat pet to be a combat pet. And allow it in pvp

    Non targetable of course

Honeslty I could see some sort of race specific active skill line to make the characters more than a "buidl in 5 piece set passive"

Could also add an extra skill slot only for those like we got for companion ult as to not mess up normal build

    Stuff like that as example

Feline pounce for Kahjit (gap closer)

Tail swipe for Argonians (cone or signle target stun)

Alteration staff that'd be like the 1 hand and shield skill line, but adapted for magicka with a few tweaks to the buffs and stuff to differentiate it from the 1 hand and shield.

Reason for it is then ZOS can reuse the assets for staff motifs, only focus on balancing and new effects, and give ice staves a way to focus on destruction instead of tanking.

A 1-handed wand skill line. Having a wand in one-hand changes how 1h-shield skills work, and same with dual wield. But you also have the wand skill line to work with. That way you get a ton of diversity. It would allow changes to some weapon skill lines to be magicka rather than stamina as well, just by equipping another weapon.

A magicka weapon skill line completely different to what we have - preferable some small item or hands only or spears (mag or stam). A trap based skill line may work but unsure, like the diablo assassin (thinking Diablo 2).

They could definetily add more weapon skills that fit the lore:

    - Illusion Staff
    - Conjuration Staff
    - Hand-to-Hand combat
    - Spear combat

Hand-to-Hand and Illusion would be my favorite though!
And so the Elder Scrolls foretold. You will be shy, and I will be bold.
