Set Suggestion for my Thief playstyle

Hello,

I am playing pvp most of the time and specifically bgs. I don't care about playing meta and killing everyone else with my op gear. I never been meta player, i just want to create specific character and play that specific character. When ESO arrived I choose to play something like a trickster thief or assassin with some magic skills and build my character around that idea. However, since then I am playing Vampire stam-sorc with dual wield and bow. I got my Master thief, I have fulled all the skill lines about stealthing, thieving and assassin.

Now, I really likes to create builds which fits to my character's idea. Now I am using Venomous set and Archer's Mind set with Gaze of Sithis. The playstyle of my character is like nightblade but i am not nightblade. So I am trying to fill the gap with invis potion, vampire's sprint invisibility, sneak, streak and psijic orders ultimate. They gave me good mobility with good amount of stealth options. I have a lot of engagement skills and disengagement skills. So my playstyle is engage, if something went wrong disengage, repeat.

My opener is always with bow-crystallized weapon with sneak attack. This made me think that the Archer's Mind set might be a good idea. But no matter how hard I try, I can't do more than 1 or 2 sneak attacks during a combat. This makes Archer Mind's invis bonus extremely useless. So I want to replace this set. But I want to preserve this style of play. So I'm on the hunt for another set that can fit this type of playstyle. I don't know too many sets because my game knowledge is not very good. I'm doing searches etc from the sites, but maybe someone who has more command of the game can help me replace this set faster and easier with the advice he will give me on this subject. I would be grateful.
I didn't feel the need to share my whole build because my goal is not to be very strong or find the ultimate build. Just making a relatively viable build that can boost this playstyle. That's why I'm looking for a set that will only support my style of play, regardless of my skills. The reason I'm using the Venomous set is because it pairs well with poison arrow and I think it's pretty good for overall damage. But as I said, my knowledge of the game is not very good, so if you have any suggestions for me to replace this set, I'm open to listening.

As I said, my style of play is completely based on sneak attacks and then trying to outplay the opponent using my mobility after being involved in combat. For this, I rely on skills such as streak, hidden blade, psijic order ultimate. If the opponent is super strong and can beat me in any condition, I leave combat and go out to look for a new enemy.

Darloc Brae is a good stealth set

Try scavenging demise instead of archers. Probably should replace sithis with markyns or monster set like balorghs. You should be able to play the whole gank playstyle that you want.

That sounds like a very difficult build to play. High skill requirement.
Sounds like you have to start on a dual wield bar then switch to bow to finish the attack. Bar swapping lags sometimes.

My stam sorc that uses shrouded daggers wouldn't be able to survive if she didn't have restoration staff back bar for healing.
Sorc doesn't have a class burst heal.

You could use the set Morag Tong to make the enemy take 10% more damage when they're poisoned.

I don't think there's anything that's going to allow you to be invisible as much as a Nightblade though...

Well probably i am not really good at this but It's fun. My sustain is not so good so i am using Sithis to prevent one shot. Other than that i actually never fight with someone face to face. If i catch someone to force 1v1 I just sneak attack with bow and crystallized weapon, then streak stun and hidden blades. If enemy not die then i use invis potion to get full with dark conversation and repeat that again. If everything goes bad then i disengage with streak. I am just trying to do annoying. However it is not bad build for bg. But i can't play cyrodill with this build.

Actually I don't need more stealth but i am looking for some set to boost my sneak ability. I think archer's mind is only set for that. Morag Tong is good idea i will try.

I used balorgh and markyns but without Sithis i am too vulnerable and almost always getting one shot. This is why I use sithis.

You can always run engine guardian instead of balorgh. Great for kiting, and helps block being ranged.

We're in a tank meta. If you can successfully gank on a sorc, you're doing pretty good all things considering.

The build sounds like it could be fun in imperial city. There's usually people you can gank there. There's also alot of nightblade gankers around too. It might be fun to go against a similar style build.

You can avoid being 1 shot if you use a few impenetrable traits and at least 27k health.

I have 9 characters. I can't get away without being hit unless I'm using a nightblade with cloak.

For every other character I have to stack health and alternate between block and heal.
If I'm running away I know I'm going to get hit in the back multiple times before I can turn a corner to break line of site.

I have no idea how you're escaping on a sorc with no burst heal. You must have some pretty good kiting skills to not get shot in the back.

You can definitely pull this playstyle off in Imperial CIty with Sithis Touch set. +100% Speed and invis on every mob kill. That new overland set from Necrom, Camonna Tong, which gives damage for XP might be nice fit here, in theory.


Alternative would be using potion cooldown glyphs or new Seeker Syntehsis set, for more invis potions.

If you like stealth, you can try


Instead of Archer's Mind, you can run one of these sets, or even run them together



Might be a fun option for you to try this set


There are also interesting sets especially for archers



When using poison arrow (execut morph) this Sheer Venom set works well, you can run it both along with venomous smite


This set will just significantly increase your poison damage


If you don't use the Major Breach skill then this is a good option.

Sithis is fine if you're playing a roll dodge-happy sorc. It's a solid set to give defense if your blocks aren't on point.

I'd recommend looking into Scavenging Demise (a bit annoying to farm, doesn't land everytime, but insane damage potential), Order's Wrath (THE crit set if you arent running an Acuity build), and Witch Knight's (great for builds with a lot of poison, has three lines of Weapon/Spell Damage to help out healing too). I'd be wary of running Snipe (although it doesn't seem like you're doing that). If you want to keep the sneak attack approach, look into becoming a stage 4 vamp if you arent already for easy access to invisibility. Invisibility potions can also be pretty fun, provided you don't need your potions for anything else.
