Inkwood Box Lead

Hi guys! Just was wondering if anyone has gotten the Inkwood Box lead from the NPC daily quest and in particular the one-win green purse? I know people love these card games, but I'm one of those that are the complete opposite. Personally, it is Tales of Torture.. haha! In truth, I think this is a neat little mini-game but not for me. My evil OCD just wants the lead and I'm done

The general consensus seems to be that few are enjoying ToT post Necrom also.

No I have not seen the lead drop.

Anyone get this lead yet/ If so, how many boxes did you need ot open? i am going on 30 or so and still no lead. Hoping it isn't bugged.

According to one of my guildmates, they got the lead on their first purple reward purse from the daily challenging NPCs. I did a couple purple and nada. I guess it is RNG, but what I'd like to know is if the purple has a higher chance of the lead dropping opposed to the one-win green. I wish there was a mechanism that would increase the chance if you didn't get the lead - we all know or have been a victim of bad luck. Like it took 40 bastion runs for me to get one lead

I got it in the first week after probably 5-10 games. I mostly only open purple and gold coffers (because I player once per day on 1-2 characters). Seems like we're not sure if box quality impacts the drop rate.

One of my guildies has gotten the lead drop from the end daily rewards box; doesn't mean they don't come in the green match boxes...just that they got it at the end of the daily turn-in reward box.

I have not gotten the lead myself and have completed 5 dailies. It is, however, the last lead I need for the music box, so my luck with the "last lead" has been miserable considering the Necrom mythic lead drops...so I know it will drop, but when is the question!

I got the lead from my first NPC daily.

I don't have Necrom, so it's not useful for me...

I don't remember for sure whether it was from my first NPC daily, but I definitely got it within the first two days of Necrom's release-- on both PC servers. It seems like its RNG is programmed to have a very high drop chance.

Blarg, after about 10 purple NPC rewards, I finally got the lead. May the RNG be with you.

Now, I just hope that a future lead isn't behind an RNG + PVP Emp requirement... nope, just nope

That was awful - finally got the lead from the purple NPC reward box (for beating 3 NPCs for the daily), after no luck with the lower level boxes for many days. I can't speak to whether it drops from the lower level ones, but from what I've heard from a few people... they all got it from the purple one.

For anyone who is struggling, the expert NPC (if you're able to play against it) seems to be a lot easier than novice or proficient. Good luck!

And soooo, after 40+ (lost count) purple daily NPC boxes, some first win of the day boxes, some 1 win tier player daily boxes, and immense amount of match win (and some defeat) boxes, I got lead from green win box after wining NPC match... I wanna cry

it finally dropped, from a purple coffer. that was about a week and a half of work. the card game ... it's not horribly bad or anything, but i'm just not that interested in it. so this lead was a pita. with gwent ... and i know the comparisons are endless and it's a bit unfair because gwent was phenomenal ... well, that was never a chore to play and i loved collecting new cards. anyway ...

oh and btw, the novice npcs are messed up. i cannot win a game against them. don't know what happened, but they're seriously borked. didn't use to be that way

It finally dropped for me as well today, after doing the dailies with multiple characters each day. From the day Necrom came out, or whenever it was known to drop from ToT. From the purple coffer that the daily gives. I almost cried. I usually get leads fairly easy, but this did not want to drop. I really dislike the card game and I sincerely hope there will never ever ever ever be another lead locked behind it. I have already given up on the lorebooks (clues) that drop through the card game.

This player got the lead from a green box. Just wanted to confirm with this since it sounds like people are thinking it doesn't.

It does seem like the purple box has a higher chance though considering it sounds like everyone else is getting it from the purple.

Updated, looks like it did drop since the last time I checked and I missed the notification.

I've played a couple of games most days since chapter release, npc and players, and opened enough rewards that I've completed the emote and the houseguest, but this lead just won't drop for me...

I finally got it a few days ago from the gold box you get for the "beat 3 real players" daily.

I've tried to get my second one for a second music box and I'm 45 purple boxes and 135 green boxes dry.

My first took me only 8 purple boxes. IMO the drop rate shouldn't be like this.

I've given up til the novice NPC fix next patch. Hopefully I can go back to cheesing patron wins in 2min because 30min for one shot in a purple box is just not worth it. I've essentially spent 23 hours so far trying to get this lead.

Yeah I let it expire and got it again... No Necrom still get leads. There were a couple of other necrom leads I got from various sources...

took me 72,000 tries between three characters but finally pulled the lead last night ( in the mailed rewards after my first win ) and thankfully i never have to play this game again.

Is that number real? At 6 minutes per game, which is really fast, that is 300 days worth of time.
