Necrom is out. I can't begin to explain to you why you should have a XP event going on right now.
Please make this happen. You're missing sales by not having one up.
Dear Community/Followers,

I want to address recent concerns regarding allegations of inappropriate direct messages and supposed cheating. First and foremost, I want to clarify that I do not admit to any wrongdoing. However, I understand that my actions may have been perceived in a way that caused concern.

As many of you know, I am a disabled veteran who served in Iraq, and I am permanently and totally mentally disabled. My PTSD, which was formally diagnosed in 2013 after being reclassified in the DSM-5, has affected me in ways that are difficult to fully explain. While this is not an excuse, it has, at times, clouded my judgment and impacted my behavior. This condition is something I have lived with for a long time, and it is a daily challenge.

As an influencer, streamer, and game reviewer with over 300 reviews, 800 followers on Twitch, and 1,600 followers on TikTok, I understand the responsibility that comes with my platform. Our role as influencers is to set a positive example, and I want to make it clear that I do not condone actions that go against the Terms of Service (TOS) or End User License Agreements (EULA) of any platform or community. Even though societal norms have evolved, and what was once deemed acceptable behavior in the past is no longer appropriate, I am committed to adapting and ensuring that my actions reflect the values we strive for today.

I want to go forward with a commitment to better representing the disabled members of our community. I recognize that I may never fully "fit in" or be "normal," but I am dedicated to improving and learning from these experiences. It is crucial that we have more flexibility and better support services for disabled veterans like myself, so we can remain active members of our communities without being unfairly limited by our disabilities. These services would help ensure that we can make better decisions and avoid situations like this in the future.

Thank you for your understanding, and I am grateful for the continued support of this community as I work to become a better version of myself.

Sincerely,
theshockcable

I doubt they are missing sales because of a lack of an XP event. People that were interested in Necrom for the most part saved up experience scrolls. If anybody decided nope not going to get it because there is no XP event will just purchase when there is an event.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

Please explain. Because I cannot think of any reason.
Why would they miss sales? I dont get it.
Everyone is either exploring the new content or learning the new class.

And double XP does not help with upgrading skill lines like Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Undaunted, Alliance War, Psijjic Order, Antiquities, all Crafting skills or is particularly helpful getting more Skill Points to unlock the abilities and passives of the aforementioned skill lines.

If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

Logical reasons can be made in favor and against XP events after new chapter releases. I do not think that an EXP event would have much impact on sales of a brand new chapter, including from people who purchase EXP scrolls.

Everyone always wants to race through content but usually it lowers enjoyment. I understand levelling an alt with nothing new around that people will apply all their CP skills, use XP boost, wear training armor, and so on to speed it all up. For that purpose it's a grind I suppose so you want it over as quickly as possible by turning it to cheese. Fair enough.

But if there's new content, why race? I don't understand personally the green laser show in Alik'r but then I've never understood that, it's so boring (to me). I mean you can race if that's what you want, you do you, but an XP event motivates everyone to race to 'not miss out'.

As it is a lot of people cannot level their new pet Arcanist yet, either due to the nausea or because they are on consoles and so on. It will all be there next week, and next month, and the month after that. Events, being limited in nature, have a compulsion to take part in them. But there is so much that people are exploring and doing, why add that compulsion? It's not like it takes you forever without XP boost. Alik'r (ugh), BRP with friends, buying boosts (or more likely using those you've stashed for ever), PVP, Dailies...

Anyway, upshot I'm glad there isn't.
