Arcanist Tips and Tricks

Thought I'd start a thread where people can put some useful tips or tricks they've learned while playing Arcanist.

Personally, I've found it super useful to back up while enemies rush towards me, lining them up for the beam.

I've also found it useful when those annoying enemies jump over your head, to actually back up into them... as it seems the beam has a small radius around us as well that hits them if they are against our backs.

In my experience, most of the time, just backup up and angling yourself so the beam hits as many enemies as possible is great for dealing with mobs. I've been grinding public dungeons to level the new companions, and thankfully the place I'm grinding has narrow passageways which makes lining up the enemies much easier.

Also, hugging walls will force enemies to group closer together as well.

Anyone else have more tips/tricks?!?
