Arcanist because they instantly kill my whole team with one ability under 3 seconds.

Been impossible to win battlegrounds especially when the whole enemy team is all arcanists.

Arcanist entire kit is negated by movement. They have no burst and rely on proc sets to have enough damage to kill players.

Break their shield and bash them. Block their charm and you wont get stunned.

Very easy to deal with them.

For me personally, the visuals of the Arcanist make them an annoyance both when they are on your side and when they are on the other side.

I agree it's easy to negate Arcanist damage with movement, however, you don't HAVE to use proc sets to kill players.

The following rotation can kill players who don't break the CC fast enough:
Ceph's Flail > Charm or Stun > Tide King > Fatecarver

But as you noted both Tide King and Fatecarver can be kited away from.

DK is still the strongest class in the entire videogame multiverse.

    You'd have to pick three:
    - at least 1 more very good low cost skill that behaves like a proc
    - a god mode button
    - an overtuned burst heal that scales with missing health
    - a high damage aoe cc move that is also a gap closer, so it makes the target lag and is also a knockback so it makes them lag more
    - a significant snare passively applied to targets by their most frequently used damage skills
    - Class passives that enable and encourage block healing

for this poll to be close, and it would still probably be DK by a mentionable margin

You forgot fossilize. Immob + stun that is unblockable + undodgeable and likely to cause desync. They couldn't make it stronger if they tried

Arcanists - post necrom drop, 5 minutes pvp'ing against Arcanists gave me a 3 day migraine.
They win, no more pvp for me as it sits.
And without pvp I don't have much reason to continue playing,
as pvp based on the old Dark Age of Camelot system is the only reason I came to ESO.

Ran into an AD zerg of just Templar healbots in IC tonight, all running mara's balm. That was the most boring fight Ive ever had. Their entire zerg could not kill me or another 1 or 2 DC, and none of use could kill one of them.

Maybe they should make Maras balm less effective depending on how many allies are near by. Kinda like how Rallying Cry has that condition.

When it comes to "videogame multiverse" the mantle will go to a nightblade. There are more broken brawlers in other games. DK also wasn't always as strong as it is right now and many points You've mentioned (some of them not even being right) weren't working like that in the past. On the other hand since the release ESO have one of the most forgiving and strongest stealth playstyles in MMO genre.

I tend to agree with Galeriano. Reasonably skilled NB Brawler really has it all right now: superior speed, superior damage, strong heals, toss in assassins will & an incap, you’re playing with 5 aces in your hand. And NBs certainly are no longer squishy.

Any theories as to why NB got so elevated in PvP?

    It is conspicuous.

Unyielding EYe ulti seems unblockable and undodgeable and deals same dmg as a second player following you spamming spammable.
An Arcanist using Unyielding Eye, charm stun and buffed Fatecarver kills you before you can break free most of the time or at least before you get out of area. Even when you survive this Unyielding Eye is still following you which can be deadly if you get stunned, immobilized or snared again. Both Fatecarver and unyielding Eye can deal 10k dps each per second for multiple seconds. Even against corrosive armor this combo deals 5,3 ticks per second+2 from master dw and vateshran destro every arcanist is using.
A player that never killed me alone before killeed me almost alone with this arcanist combo.
Unyielding Eye, Fatecarver and charme stun are even more problematic when beeing outnumbered, often I was sucessful 1vXing before an arcanist arrives, uses unyielding Eye, charme CC and Fatecarver killing me before i can break free.
When faced 1v1 the arcanist backstabbers of course run away with uncatchable speed.
The charm CC causes character to run in weird direction looking like a game error but

Using Maras balm should regulary purge plaguebreak and when used in group blow up the whole group, but somehow it never happened.
Blowing up your whole group because you wear mara in group would be a well deserved punishment for Zergling that build tanky to stalemate 1v1, be unkillable by bombers/1vXers and sacrifice dmg because they only kill Xv1.
The same update they introduced mara they nerfed plaguebreak by making a 20 seconds cooldown per player and reducing doz dmg by 48% so less players use it and it gets applied and purged much less.

Yes there are a number of players using a particular break-out build that has everything except on demand cc, dots and stealth. That build is fast, burst,y and healy. Its also not really played very well by most people that pick it up, but when it's done well it's a brawler that can potentially one shot one good player once a minute if they can land their move that has a .4 second cast time and connect their follow up that has a half second travel time.

I'd still put the most well played path-blade behind a decently played dk purely on the grounds that their kill power isn't nearly as gated. Exception being corrosive DKs, but they get 12 seconds of God mode every minute as opposed to one very cued combo
