Possible Bug? Sharp as-Night Companion Makes Me Get No Fish

When i fish with this companion out I do not get any fish. He is supposed to help get better fish and reduce the time but now I do not get any fish with him out. I posted the video of the incident. I have on the Artaeum Pickle Bowl Dish on and the 2 Champion Points perks slotted in the green tree that help with fishing. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

CaiWenji✭✭✭✭Tested it in a saltwater spot nearby with this companion out and it worked as intended. Not sure what is wrong with those 2 foul water spots in Khenarthis Roost.1

✭✭✭✭✭even with all the buffs fishing is still heavily RNG, that is one reason why i dont like fishing with more people, because you get less casts per hole = less chance to roll for fish
ive been fishing all over telvanni and apocyrpha and i havent noticed any issue having sharp out (ive gotten 9 of the 12 rare fish with no buffs aside from having sharp active)plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

Maddjuju✭✭✭I wasn't having this issue but just had it in the fishing spot in the group event in Lion's Den. If I had Sharp out, no fish. Put Sharp away and I was getting fish again.
