Fishing Buffs

So been playing thru the High Isle story [yes I'm behind] and saw the new companion from Necrom [Sharp] gives you "Sharp's Patience" which "Increases bite rate and increases trophy fish chance". I've always wanted to finish the fishing achievements but I get a few hours in [couple years ago] then fall asleep. But recently I wanted to try again. I haven't tested it [cause I wanna get thru High Isle] but with the Champion System buff [25% Decrease in bite time] [Increase chance for higher quality fish][ <--Which I assume is 25% cause thats how many points you have to spend] plus Sharp's Patience, PLUS Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl [which increases fish quality] are we talking a speed run? Or will it still take a long time to get everything

And no I'm not asking "Can I finish it in an hour" but have people actually seen an increase in the rare fish? Or is it barely noticeable

short answer...yes

Noticeable.
But you are still subject to the whims of RNGesus; some of the rares won't come easy, and it's different for everybody as to when dry spells come.

I must of blacked out during one of my fishing sessions, I downloaded the Rare Fish Tracker add on and noticed I had caught all the fish on Vvardenfell, I don't remember doing this...

Only problem is all these fish quality buffs (CP, food, Sharp's passive, fishing in a group, etc) are only good for fishing achievements. If you are fishing for perfect roe, bottles, satchels, or folios, you don't want your loot pool filled up with trash green and blue fish.

I think ZOS has detailed what happens with Sharps and they say that the increase in trophy fish comes at the cost of a decrease in catching bait.
