Create an official NPC that exchanges Alliance Points for Gold?

Just another idea to create a way to earn gold, since I don't play the Market like a second job. It even makes a bit of sense from an Immersion standpoint. You earn Alliance Points for accomplishing deeds for your Alliance. You could then have your Alliance exchange those points for cash payment, Governments gotta pay their soldiers. Yes I know many of us have just MILLIONS of points banked away, that's why the exchange rate would need to be high, to control gold inflation, but I'd much rather bash my head against the wall in Cyrodiil to make Gold instead of doing daily pick pocket runs or grinding for that one item everyone wants atm then trying to sell it in Zone chat.

As opposed to the usual way of buying motifs or gear for alliance points and listing them in a trading guild?

Doing that on occasion shouldn't require playing the market like a second job.

If someone is really, really dead set against joining a guild with a trader, it takes less than 30 seconds to type "WTS" in zone chat, link the motif you want to sell, and add a price. ZOS shouldn't have to go out of their way to accomodate a few players that refuse to make use of the tools already provided.

A trading Guild that requires all 30 slots full at all times and a weekly membership fee? No, not all Guilds require things like that but most with good spots do.

Takes less than 30 seconds write that in Zone, takes days or weeks to actually find a buyer.

My trade guild has no fees or minimum requirements other than not going MIA for months on end and always has a trader. I can shoot you an invite if you like.

As for waiting days or weeks to sell in zone, that’s only if you’re overpriced. If you price it to sell you’ll find a buyer pretty quickly, the same as if you were listing it with a trader.

If ZOS were to actually implement an AP to gold trader, this would undoubtedly lead to endless complaints that the rate is too high or too low and isn’t fair to someone or other.

Doesn't the Golden Vendor serve this purpose ? We can buy items from her for AP, then sell them for gold.

You say that but PVErs complain about playing PVP like what 3 times a year. PvPers are required to PVE all the time.

But.god forbid we get a increase in quality of life. SMH.

Seems like your being kind of one sided no? Or close minded?

Why is this a PvE vs. PvP issue? Are people who PvP not allowed to join trade guilds? Is there some purity test to be called a "PvPer"? I PvP almost daily, but also do RNDs pretty often and occasionally run trials, and also belong to a long-established trade guild where I sporadically list things, including things I've purchased with surplus AP. Which tribe do I belong to and which tribe am I supposed to blame for problems? I'd look in the mirror if you're asking who's being one-sided.
