Cephaliarch's Flail not triggering sheer venom

Despite Cephaliarch's Flail having the same language as all the other executes that DO proc sheer venom, flail does not.

Is this intended behavior or a missing flag?

Could we please someday get a tag system for skills we can see to find out what is considered what for transparency? For example "direct damage, AOE, DoT, channeled, execute, [damage type - frost, fire,..]"

Anyway, hope it gets fixed.

This might not be a bug.

Not all morphs of skills that grant a shield count for Shield Master CP, for example. The devs explained that this was because they didn't count as shield abilities if the shield was "auxiliary." In those cases, the shield was only gained on one of the two morphs and wasn't present on the base morph.

Since the execute part of this ability is only present on the one morph, the skill as a whole (by analogy) is likely not considered an "execute ability."

I mean... That's what they might come back with but if so it will hurt their credibility...

Problem with that answer is it procs on other skills that are only executes on some morphs like mage's fury, poison injection, etc.

Still want tags. ZOS has to apply tags anyway so it can do calcs, just show them to us. The good ARPG games do it and ESO has just crunchy enough mathematics in their formulas that the transparency gained from showing tags would significantly improve the new player experience and make troubleshooting and gear tuning better for everyone...

Also on the shield master note that response from ZOS is kinda poorly executed as well. If they're going to write exceptions to a blanket statement then either have something like holding CTRL while mousing over it to see which specific skills it effects or change the phrasing. Shield master doesn't say "some damage shield abilities" or "damage shield abilities we remembered when we threw that code together".
