No more DLCs coming this year but Necrom story doesn't end yet? I don't get it.

I finished all Necrom's main quest misions and it's half way, but this year there are no more DLC's coming (like previous years) to end the story.

So I'm cnfused, this means we will finish Necrom's main quest next year?

It's part of a larger story like Morrowind, Clockwork City, and Summerset were.

They decided to return to the "larger story arc" thing unfortunately. I liked the all in one year setup better personally.

Yeah it’s a larger story arc. With the Shadow Over Morrowind thing I wonder if that means next year will be Morrowind too but I’m guessing Skyrim or County Skingrad.

Morrowind-ClockworkCity-Summersend was also a story arc. Next year will be the 10 year anniversay of ESO. Lets build up to it and hope it will be good :-)

I wouldn't mind that if it was dumped all at once. I really don't like half the story being released and zones being split up. I want one story and a large area to explore.

Correct me if im wrong but I think they changed it back so they could have more time dedicated to updating servers and things like that.

ZoS cheaped out. The second half will be next year's "chapter".

Oh, but you get bug fixes (duh, why shouldn't you in any case?) in Q3 while you wait to pay more cash for the next episode...

But thanks for the heads up - I'll wait until the story arc completes before buying the chapters.

Wonder if that's a subtle "does not end" like arcs had it previously or same as "year of the... " with their "to be continued" sign at every corner which was insanely annoying.

Remember we've been promised finished stories but with an overarching connection, so was it just a spoof.
