I'm breaking my own rule about posting in appropriate categories, but this pertains not just to player houses but to most, if not ALL structures in-game that have interiors.



I've been able to look past the interiors not quite scaling properly to their exterior models, but this House is just egregious.

Its a fantasy game and I don't ever expect the interior to match what the exterior will have you believe, nor does it bother me.

Who is true as in magic is real but houses are usually not magic. Some are but they are the exception.
And it makes no sense, why not simply make the bottom wider, this was done in real life if it was room and building an additional house would not work.

Totally, completely agree…as someone else said I’m normally not bothered by minor inconsistencies like windows not matching up, or rooms that we can see on the outside, but do not have access to inside, but this is so glaring and disappointing on an otherwise beautiful, wonderful structure that comes closest to being the wizard tower I’ve been begging for for nine years. 🧙‍♂️

For practical, decorating reasons, I'm glad they don't match. The house has a perfect look on the outside, but inside wouldn't have much space to place anything if it were that small. Unlike the real world, video games don't have to compromise one or the other, they can just make the exterior and interior different. This definitely feels like "rule of cool" wins out. At least, for me, personally.

Agreed. Just consider it a house specific "bag of holding".

I bought this house and I haven't even touched it. Sorta regretting it tbh, for reasons people keep pointing out like this. I love the look, the location but for some reason the poor 700 furnishing limit flew past me as always and I bought it day one. I did the same with the Aldmeri Grotto house and got a refund.
