Last played 1~2 years ago (just after companions were added). Have there been any momentous changes recently that might sway me one way or another? BTW, if you can't remember any, that's fine -- that just means nothing (big) worth remembering happened.
BTW, I'm hoping they finally added an Auction House -- whether ESO finally has one will be a major factor.

1. Curated drops. I think this dropped around the time you might have left, so you may or may not already know about this.
2. Heavy attack builds became a lot more popular, especially for sorcs. This is because of the mythic that came out last year, Oakensoul.
3. RIP jabs. I barely play my stamplar now. He switched over to tank because I can't stand the new animation. Maybe not big for some people, but for me it ruined my stamplar.
4. Account wide achievements.
Thanks for the quick run-down. I seem to remember curated drops. It's certainly a nice idea. I also recall people would sell runs, but I never had any issue in PUGs where people would even ask for payment for a drop they couldn't use. That would be an interesting change in behavior. I could definitely see shout-recruits asking for payment, though.carolingnight wrote: »1. Curated drops.

1. hard to find players to join you if you need something... unless you pay.
2. HA got nerfed
3. ZoS change annimation of Jabs
4. True. Create a new char and you will have so many things already complete
For the most part, this is true and it's a big plus for ESO overall. It's quite possible to play and acquire all you need directly. That's until you craft. Then trading becomes far FAR more economical time-wise than gathering directly -- even with the hours-long shopping trips.FeedbackOnly wrote: »Auction house isn't needed in eso.

On Achievements, do you mean things like titles and such that are earned by doing harder modes or something else? I was just starting to become interested in those when ESO faded away for me. I like the idea of account-wide for them.
Is attack-weaving still a thing? I recall seeing patch notes about changes there. I LOVED weaving in Tera, but for some reason I don't like it in ESO. I'd guess because ESO-weaving feels like so much button-fluff (extra buttons for no reason other than "more buttons").For the most part, this is true and it's a big plus for ESO overall. I simply dislike playing "medieval shopper". Lack of an AH is probably what chased me out of the game. I was working crafting at the time and would often not log on for weeks just to avoid shopping. Not logging on ESO lead to logging in elsewhere and eventually to never logging on to ESO.
For those of you that like the whole medieval trade-wars aspect of ESO, what drew your interest and how did you get started in it? Most of the stuff I recall that might sell was "grindy bot farmer" type things (ore/etc), which is a big turn-off.
