Reapers March - when will you fix this? Ever?

Can you pls either move every quest, achievement, map, survey etc from the area around Arenthia or actually sort the issue that causes my char and other ppls to crash there continually. Yet again I have had to raise a tkt and cannot access my main char. This has been an issue for yrs - pls reinstate my main char asap. Seriously unimpressed.

Lissiexx✭✭✭I don’t think this bug/issue is exclusive to PS - I am sure when I have posted around this before XBOX/PC plyrs have experienced this. Worse still I don’t think it’s the only place where it happens.

✭✭✭Yes, I also witnessed something unusual happening around Arenthia, especially near the river going south northwest of it. Although I never crashed, when being there my hardware definitely reacts (vents turning up to maximum, processor load increasing on CPU and GPU).
I assume this part of the zone includes some faulty code which is causing this.
I play on pc eu btw.Never get between a cat and it's candy!

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.1 -
Lissiexx✭✭✭There is a quest there I can’t do. I crashed there last year trying to excavate a lead on my farmer. I normally avoid that whole area but over a year later I assumed albeit wrongly that it would have been rectified.
Totally agree that there is some kind of fault in the code.
My main is now just continually crashing - so have to wait for it to be moved to a safe area.PS5 EU1 -

✭✭✭You could try to login with another toon and set your graphics to bare minimum (including resolution) temporary, then switch to your main character to extract it.
This is of course no permament solution, but at least you could play your main again with some luck.Never get between a cat and it's candy!

✭Yeah, I can confirm that a certain part of Reaper's March caused my main to crash there indefinitely last year. I can't remember the precise location exactly, but I crashed and would keep crashing every time I tried to log in there. The thing that helped me as mentioned here already was moving my character using my old PS4 as this seems to be exclusively a PS5 problem.https://youtube.com/@rkindaleft PlayStation NA. ChuckyPayne✭✭✭✭Did you write to support? I think they can help with move your character to other zone. IMO, That is better, to use your character in another zone and not visit Reaper's March instead of w8ing for a fix.0 -
Lissiexx✭✭✭I did write to support and totally got an automated useless response. I have a quest and achievements in that area that I just can’t do because of that bug. It’s not good enough - some of these major bugs are around for yrs now.

There are also other areas of the game I have found the same thing... almost like there is a "zone divider" there. Very weird. ALWAYS reply to the automated email from Zos.
But thanks for the heads up with the ps4 work-around - how come you can do it? Curious!

It is because it is an Instanced area with content that depends on what you have done or have not done. The Bridge is the border for all of this.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
