1. If I have run or galloped further than an enemy will chase me, why should I still be regarded as in combat? I should in that case be using the wayshrine or recounting rather than being forced to wait until npc decides to turn around.
2. Mounting while crouching should Def be a thing, even if it's a feature added to the thieves guild skill line. Same goes for mou ting while in combat. Thieves guild skill to avoid conflict or run away from them quickly at a gallop!
for point 1, i dont really have any problems, being in combat itself does not inherently block interaction, only if you were actively attacked
there are times ive run past a mob, aggrod them, but was still able to interact with with a door or quest item before they caught up to me and hit me (its easier to do with a melee mob than a ranged mob)
for point 2, theres a lot of weird things you cant do at the same time, though some might make more sense than others (such as you cant use most consumables (potion, food, drink) while sprinting, swimming, or dodge rolling)
and yes ive run into those issues before where my food ran out when i was sprinting somewhere and i had to stop sprinting to refresh the food buff lol
i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
Drop a ground aoe as you run away, once they pass their leash threshold and take damage it updates their status and reset. Otherwise you have to wait longer for them to catch up, nip you in the behind, then run back.

my point is about when i have run or galloped further than they will follow, even further than they will go to nip you and run. it's very easy to gallop that far and then you have to wait until they give up the chase even though they will never go as far as you have run.
And really i am just making a feature request, not here to debate the best ways to get them to give up the chase.
