New bug on quest priority

There's a new bug on the quest priority order.

Before the Necrom update when we picked a new quest it was set automatically as the active quest. Now, everytime we end a quest it automatically cycles to the forced main quest that no one will ever play on an alt character and when we pick a new one it remains forced on the main quest. So, now not only we can't remove the main quest that we'll never play but it's also constantly being forced as the default quest instead of cycling for the new one or the next one. Everytime we pick a new ques we now need to go to the journal and select it manually.

There is a new setting for this-- Settings, Interface, Quest Tracking or something like that. Default = Off, which is what causes the new behavior. Set it to On if you want the old behavior back.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Thanks a lot! ;) I did that and it in fact solved part of the problem. Now when I pick a new quest it automatically activates, which is nice. :) But whenever I finish a quest it automatically activates the main quest, which obviously is exactly the one that I never wanna active. Since we still can't disable the main quest at least it would be fine if we could set it to the last in queue.

    Thank you for this information.

I too thought it was a bug. Additionally, there wasn't the sound effect when accepting a quest like there was before the patch, enabling this setting fixes that as well.

It will activate the first quest in your journal when you complete one. That isnt a bug, just how it has always worked.

Just wanted to share the patch note here.

    • Added a new toggle in the Interface settings for "Automatic Quest Tracking" so the quest goal tracker no longer defaults to changing your active quest when you acquire a new one. This is set to "Off" by default but set it to "On" if you prefer the old way!
