Please give us an option to disable other players Arcanist sounds and green visual effects. At least when we're not in group or combat. I was already willing to completely stop playing group contents with Arcanists but it's also affecting solo play and infesting cities where there's no need to see that visual [Snip]. Please help us to fix it, I've been trying to disable those light effects with the nvidea tools but I couldn't figure out a way.

Personally I would be open to a general solution which is also including visuals from other player's pets/mounts.

But as long as every sorc may go for a walk with his flappy everywhere he likes to do so, even "infesting cities where there's no need to see that visual trash", I see no reason to hide solely arcanist's skills.

I exclude the "crux" mechanic from this due to motion sickness.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

I don't like too the other visual [Snip] you mention, but this time it's not just a visual preference for me. That's why I only mentioned the Arcanist effects. It's more urgent, at least to me. I really need to find a solution soon. With some hack, addon or something. I don't know. But I'm really not standing it unfortunately. :( Maybe I'm getting too old for this.

The only good thing of the Arcanist effects is that it made me realize that I have a fotosensitive problem that I wasn't aware. Obviously I'm going to see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible to try to find out if there's anything I can do to reduce the impact of this condition, but from what I've been reading most likely I'll have to leave the game. It's all new for me.

I've been playing a lot since the 90's and never faced such problem before. It's mostly noticeable when I have those flashy triangles floating around my character, it dominates so much that I barely can see anything else. The solution is not to use it, but unfortunately I still can see it constantly in other players, and sometimes floating green circles appears on my non-arcanist characters for no reason - I can't even understand why and what for. [Snip]

By the way... I think that a solution for me is a way to completely disable the green light effects. I think I'd probably could stand the [Snip] arcanist's animations without the light effects. I'm not really sure if it's the movement causing the stress or the light. The light seems too intense. I also tried to reduce the brightness on my screen but it ruins everything and I have my screen properly calibrated with a Spyder device. So, it's not a problem at my display.
