Game Won't Launch After Necrom Update

Exactly as the title says. I opened the launcher this morning, it downloaded and installed the updates, and now the game won't launch. It was working fine last night before the Necrom update, but now when I hit 'Launch' all I get is an endless black screen. This is on a Windows 11 machine.

I probably should have mentioned, doing a game repair from the launcher didn't help, and rebooting didn't help.

@UrQuan Are you getting the black screen as soon as you hit Play from the launcher? Or is it after you try to log in from the login screen?

As soon as I hit Play from the launcher, or as soon as I launch directly from the exe - the screen immediately goes black and doesn't progress. I don't get the titles or any audio or anything, and I don't get to the screen where I can enter my account and password.

Edit: I submitted a support ticket 230605-001605 with a game consultant file. This is happening with both my normal installation and my Steam installation of ESO.

I just rebooted again (3rd time) and now it works... [snip]? I'm gonna go ahead and blame this one on Windows 11, because my old Windows 10 machine had no problems with the update.

We are glad to hear that you can now launch ESO successfully. Since the issue has been resolved, we are going to close this thread.
