Waited for an hour, relogged. - Thus, my mail just got deleted.

The game announced 8 unreceived messages to me. After a couple minutes of waiting, I tried to teleport to all kinds of different corners of Tamriel in hopes that it would allow me to actually read those messages and receive the potential gold attached to them, as it has worked out as a walk-around for this particular bug quite often.
But after an hour, I grew a bit tired of waiting and figured I should just relogg in hopes it would fix things. - It didn't. It deleted the mail completely and I have no idea if it contained the gold I made from sales or a just a friendly message. Whatever it was, it's gone. - I'd really like my mail back, is that possible?
