I want to use bow as a stamina templar. I realized since I can't really trust in breath of life unless I become full magplar, if I can keep my range, then I can sustain my health using the templar circle from time to time. I want to weave a templar stamina ranged skill spammable with (or we can just throw 3 spears, no need to be a bow) with snipe.
You know templar is a close ranged all because their main spammable is up close and yet something doesn't add up. There is no risk vs reward for up close play. I won't lie that if I had a far larger mag pool, then I would probably be ok. The problem is that damage stacks on weapon and spell damage. Every time I make a build it does better on DK and NB. DK has a risk vs reward built into their class. NB can cloak. (Although who knows what the pots will do ^_^)
You see templar needs a % based heal. The rune is one. However, in order to get the full effect, one must stand in it. That is great for tanks in PVE but almost impractical in pvp, but it can be flexible for ranged users as well. Since templar burst heal will NEVER turn into a %based heal and heavily depends on x damage and CRIT (just like vigor), i'd like a ranged move to build around the rune for heals. This way I can lower some x dmg, some crit, and all of my magpool . Then focus on health and stam knowing that if I keep my distance, I should be able to heal up.
However, I need to test the new changes to the game coming up. I heard they did allow some healing done with the rune outside of it. That might be a huge game changer any little health is better than none.
