Where is the loot?

I just finished the last boss on City of Ash II and the body disappeared and I can't find a chest anywhere? Where is the last boss loot for this [snip] boss??

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I've had that happen to me, too, and I don't think the loot on the boss's corpse has anything to do with the final chest, because I've also had runs where I was able to loot the boss's corpse as it did not get swallowed up by lava.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

the final boss in city of ash 2 i dont think has ever been lootable, even when he dies on a platform the loot always appears in the chest
if you though miss the chest, hit the sigil and get ported out to where you turn in the quest, im not sure if there is a way to get back to the other part of the dungeon to grab the boss loot chestplays PC/NA
