QUESTION: Arcanist vs Zelvraak ( Graven Deep final boss )

Zelvraak adapts a player class ability to use against them.

Sorc = shock
Templar = heals the boss
Dragonknight = fireballs
Nightblade = d.o.t ( Crippling Grasp ) on players
Necromancer = Blasbones
Warden = frost

So, what happens when you use the Arcanist?
What does Zelvraak do?

    I tried nGD on PTS and he summoned Blastbones and did Necromancer dialogue but had no fires. Seems like ZOS forgot to update Graven Deep.

    Same situation happens in Halls of Fabrication and when that trial released Necromancer was not even released. So it just spawns a random add instead of a already existing classes in the group.

    My bet is that there are no special mechanics for Arcanist because they can't be bothered.

    I play a templar dps.

    I was in that dungeon last night and me and my group were having difficulty defeating the final boss. Now I know there is a mechanic that helps the boss adapt based on a player's class. I could of been healing the boss the whole time.


    So why not try defeating the boss on an arcanist character and see how the boss adapts and take note of what it does.

    On hardmode the boss heals because he steals ritual. Nonhardmode is only novas. Which the novas still suck, templar is probably the worst class to run in GD, but its doable.
