I was thinking of a good RP location but I guess I will choose the one I tend to use for all my characters.

The Baandari Trading Post in Malabol Tor.

Why? Simple port to the Cyrodillic Jungle House, which gives quick access to merchants, the mount trainer, and a wayshrine. All within a very short distance from each other.
And it’s relatively quiet too, but filled with npcs. It’s actually a nice little town.

    Rawl'kha

After I set up CP points, I will park and use the Writs boards and Stable in Rawl'kha using the saved up Recipes, Intricate items, Riding, and Crafting tokens as needed.

I haven't even peeked at Necrom on the PTS, but I'm guessing there will be a hub city in the new zone, so I might use that.

I won't be in any rush to level or train a new arcanist character, I never am. All my characters use whichever stablemaster they happen to be near on those days when I log them in and it's convenient to train them. Most of the time it's probably Vulkhel Guard because they often port to outside the inn room which is so handy for the wayshrine and stablemaster no matter where they're coming from. However, if they're passing a different stablemaster then they'll use that and they always train capacity, speed and stamina in that order (although it's really only the first one that I want).

There is. It's a bit sprawling, but it should be perfectly usable once the layout gets to be known a bit better. (Although I am not sure I even looked where the mount trainer actually was, come to think of it...)

I have a whole bunch of lessons accumulated but sadly not 240 (120 per account) of each so Rawl'kha will be for quite a while.

Is a nice town. Sad that the traders there kinda 'fell from grace' over the years, still, is small and convenient for starter chars.

Said that I cannot currently add any more chars to the writ roster - there are only so many hours in the day - so not in a rush either.

Not planning on levelling them until the next 2XP event, whenever that might be (probably Explorers after the new chapter event if they follow a similar pattern to previous years).

I mean Arcanist is nice and all that, but whatever they can do my DKs can do better for the same effort.

Until they go all templar on the DK's a**e I'm good.

Still the closest banker to a wayshrine outside of houses . I definitely visit here

Queen Ayrenn-- or was she just a princess back then?-- is not just your typical pompous, vainglorious royalty, so I can believe that she would have paid for her pony herself.

As to whether the gold was actually earned by her or was merely an allowance given to her by her parents, who can say?

i probably wont even talk to the stablemaster lol

i hate the way mount upgrades are done, so most of the time i just dont even bother doing them

i only have 1 toon with max mount upgrades which is my main, back during game launch and after i was done i was like "never again", so i only seldomly visit the stablemaster or i use the freebie riding scrolls that come out from logins

I noticed that at levels 14 and 16 we get bag space upgrades. Does that mean it would save the most gold if we upgrade our bags for gold all but the last two highest levels, and then we could upgrade the most expensive two levels using these bag space upgrades?

My Arcanist will live in Necrom or, if it turns out that the city lacks a convenience that I am comfortable with, Vivec City.
In the latter case, my old Necromancer will move to Necrom.

    Sadly not. 😕
The first upgrade only works, if you have not yet upgraded your bag on that character.
If you have, you should only get a message to try and visit a bag merchant for more upgrades... 🤦‍♂️

She was likely a child at the time, and her parents aka king and queen paid for it, but there is still something to be said for having the finest ponies in Summerset, worthy of the young princess.

I think THAT, and not who paid for the pony, is the point of the conversation. He's proud of his stable and his horses, as he should be.

Unlikely. High Elf culture being what it is, I'm sure everyone knows who supplies the riding horses to the royal family and lying us pointless.

level 10 you are going to do the Cyradil tutorial anyway and get the added mount speed from that. Everyone does not have this need to start every character 60/60/60 .
